Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Paid in full too? that sucks, I dont use western union with sellers I don't trust, did you use WU?

nope, I used paypal...I took a leap of fate when the 45 days was closing...They might deliver but i don't have much fate left for that.

For Display purposes what is the best size of mag to buy? i heard it was a U.S size 7?

If anyone can shed light on this that would be great as i plan to buy my next pair soon

I'd say it is the US 7 too if you're talking about the RDs. If it's the v2s then I'm pretty sure the smallest size they come in is a US 8, as I spent quite a while looking at different sellers for a US 7 & was told they're not manufactured in this size.

Quick question fro me before I order a pair of these bad boys from Karin. I'm a UK size 11, I've read some people saying to go a size lower for a good fit. Can anyone who's bought a pair from Karin comment ?

I'd be surprised if they were a US 9 as MJF's Nike Bruins worn in the first film are definitely a US 7. Considering he's only 5'4" tall, size 9 would look ridiculous!

Wouldn't know, never met him. I'm just going by what Tinker says on one of the RD 2011 MAG docos.

Yeah, his Nike's that are on display in Universal's Offices LA are a 7 as you can just see the size in the photo I posted & being about 5'5"-6" myself, I would be confident saying that he's not a 9. His profile would resemble a golf-club if he was.

Hi guys, I was looking to purchase a pair from Karin on aliexpress and I wanted to know from those who bought these shoes has the "Boot toe cap" look been changed on these ones? Or is there is going to be a better version of these coming out where that issue will be fixed? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm 5'6" and Marty sized, and wear a size 9 Nike.

Totally possible! But I too would like to know for sure.

Meanwhile, if you guys keep buying the price will never come down. Also, when will the price go down? Still waiting to take the plunge but I am drooling over the mods in the other thread.

Factory finish is the work boot look. Your need to slim the toe if that is the look you want.

Hey Nighteyes, if you have a look at the photo I posted of 'Marty's' screen used Bruins you can see the size printed on the inside of the shoe. Reads as a 7, so I would guess he wore round about that size in the Mag too.

Also, he's only 5'4" all just looking at the dimensions of his feet to his height in the movie, personally, they look like a 7 or there abouts to me.

The only reason I could see for him wearing a bigger size would be for the power-lacing scene so he could slip his feet easily into the shoes without it being a stuggle or the addition of extra electronics which you require more space in the shoe.

Personally, I like them in a 7 as the proportions look lovely, way more aesthetically pleasing than any other size on that height of person & not to mention going with the size of his original Bruins.

These are my US 7 RDs vs my US 8 RDs. The US 7 are proportioned much more nicely for display purposes in my eyes. Each to their own obviously! :thumbsup

I know you posted a side by side a while back, but any chance you can post a heel to heel shot of the RD and the V2 please?

Hey cavx, I don't actually own the v2s anymore, although I do remember Lukebrynycz posting some RD vs v2 comparison shots so he might be able to oblige! :thumbsup

Interesting. So why did you decide to lose the V2 K-MAG?

I already posted a heel photo i'm sure?

Possibly. I could not find an image that shows what I want to see which the real height difference between RD and V2.

Basically, as they come up a little bit large & I'm around a US 7.5 it was pointless for me to keep them because even if I did mod them, they wouldn't get any use due to the size. The smallest they manufacture is a US 8 I'm led to believe & I've a few pairs of RD mags in my actual size so don't mind wearing a pair of those every now & again.

I'm considering buying a pair. I usually wear size 10.5. I've read that these run a bit large - I'm wondering if those who have ordered pairs could give me their thoughts. Is it about a full size large? Would you recommend I order them in 9.5 (a full size smaller) or 10 (a half size smaller)?

What do you usually wear and how did your shoes fit you?

Thanks!

You could possibly go to a 9 and they would still fit. Probably best to go for 9.5 to be sure though.

Ordered a pair of UK 11 on Saturday but had an email from Karin to say they are out of stock. If people are saying these run large is it worth me seeing if she has a UK 10 in stock ? Are these really 1 size down ? These will be worn occasionally (they're far to cool not to !)

hrm if they are running out of the first batch, I wonder how long it is till we see a second one, and if they made any improvements or not.
