Does anybody know if the ankle strap on the 2016 RD is auto-lacing or is it just the laces?

On the subject of the V3, is the general consensus that the quality is still shabby with people having EL failures and yellow soles, or has David got his finger out and actually started to apply the changes that we asked for?

Just the laces

Not really sure about the quality now. I got mine back in the beginning of August along with a second pair not long after and mine have been great and have looked great since I got then. stprime ordered some a few weeks ago I believe and it seems like the clear soles have gotten a lot more yellow. Wanting to see if that will change or not.

I will donate too, however the mail in entry sounds pretty good. You can mail in once for each shoes size. And the entry will be worth the average entries purchased from donations...which sounds really good. You know there are people who are going to spend thousands on entries lol.

I still haven't seen any changes, I really think David is just telling us what we want to hear. The only possible change is the fabric being darker, and I think that's just a coincidence. EL panels still appear to be exactly the same, same with the brightness ect. If you plan to wear them...I don't think the quality is there yet. If you want a display/collection I think they are great.

My guess is that the guy trying them on doesn't wear a size 13 and so he's not filling up the shoe.

The toe box on these is definitely taller than the 2011. It's obvious from the CG renderings & in the flesh. Not that I wouldn't still love a pair, but the sleek look of the 2011 wins it for me, the toe box make or breaks these & it's borderline.
