Brad, do you know the exact LEDs used on the V2s? I remember you posting pics of the V2 circuit vs yours but can't find the pics. I have an LED out and want to repair it.

The LEDs I used to replace the existing ones are 3mm diffused LEDs. The ones that come with the shoes are clear.

I was just thinking of replacing them with the same clear ones but wanted the exact same make and model. Perhaps your 3mm diffused ones would work on the V2 circuit..? Hmm..

Would you mind posting pics of the LED circuits again and how the LED bubble looks when popped out of the side? I'm trying to visualise how it comes out, wires on one side or on both etc. I'd imagine you need to take the entire ankle foam bit out to get the LED bubble out without breaking wires..?

received my v2's the other day sailed through customs no problems (and no charges!) very happy with them. Definitely plan on doing the el strap mod at some point not sure on the sole el mod yet though as it looks pretty good as is.
I have found they are on the larger side of the sizing though I got a uk 7.5 but they are more like a uk 9

Using a hairdryer, the strap can be seperated and the EL installed. I won't be doing this (so PLEASE don't ask), but it is possible:

I just found a way to tap into the extisting 3v battery...HOWEVER, there is not enough power to drive the EL logo. I am using a 3v EL inverter but it may not be giving enough power to the EL sheet, SO, if we can get an inverter that can transform the 3 volts that come from the existing battery into enough power to drive just the EL logo, then it would be possible to add just the EL strap. Otherwise it would have to be driven of a different battery source.

on karins site aliexpress. I cant seem to add a shoe size. I can add to cart but not a specific shoe size. How do i get the shoe size i want? thanks!

Has any body figured out a better switch for these? As its tucked behind the ankle cup they are hard to turn on and off if they are just for display
