Well after seeing that I had to do some sort of comparison of my own, I'm happy

Great comparison shots. I am even more impressed with these now. If you had the toe slimmed and the correct LEDs and EL in them, they would be 95% accurate. Not bad at all!!!

I sure am impressed with them, but there's a few things I don't like:

The back heel looks quite bulky and sloppy.
The toe (of course) but easy enough fix.
The smell. Until you have sniffed a pair of RDs and got aroused, you won't know what I mean :lol. The V2s smell like cheap plastic.
The charging wires and button are pathetic and WILL break..
The box is tatty and all say size 10.
They generally don't have the same feel and slickness about them, but for the price....they are a BARGAIN.

Anyone who says they aren't worth the price hasn't had a pair yet. Saying that, if you're patient (unlike some of us:rolleyes) the V3s will be around within the next 6 months I should imagine but price will be more I would say.

My V2's just shipped today. Seeing this pictures.. I am happy with purchase the V2's, I had been on the fence for a long time because of price and the lure of a V3 coming out. I will never be able to justify spending $5,000+ on for the RD. For 200 plus shipping the V2's are great. A little elbow grease and then they become pretty awesome. I actually like the "puffy" tops vs the slim RD ones.

Thanks for that. Half a size would not make that much difference. When all we had before was scaled images, it could have been a US7 next to US11. This at least shows the differences are not that great. Still not buying a pair at this stage though.

Unfortunately no. The swoosh is "inset" and if I were to mess with it, it will not look right.

The only thing I would like to figure out is how to reduce the thickness of the lace buldges.

well thats a shame.

about the bulges, I have no clue. either apply some sort of pressure or mabye a damp cloth and an iron? dont have a pair myself tho so hard to tell on this end. im sure youll come up with something tho. =)
