You may have to wait for nike to officially rerelease them. I think these only go up to 12.

Funny how that site JUMPED from $69 to $348.99 for the shoes overnight :lol
And.... They show that one sold last night. So I am curious, who here bought a pair at $69 and if they get them actually shipped :)

unreasonable, sudden price hikes seem to be all too common where mags are concerned =(

My comment probably wasn't seen because it was drown by other comments, so I'll ask it again. Do the V2s come as the advertised size? I've heard that the V1s were a little smaller than the size it said they were.

Hay man. A bit late to reply but I found they we'r about half a size bigger than the size they state. I'm a UK 9 and my v1s are pretty much bang on yet the V2s are a little roomy but nothing silly.

Perfect for having the toe slimmed by one of the geniuses :love

I took the risky jump and ordered a pair as soon as I saw the post and that they were $69. Under $100 shipped. I paid for them, got a confirmation email, then at about 11pm Pacific Time last night they sent me an email.

"We are so sorry, we set the shoes with wrong price, the price of the shoes is: $348.99. If you want the shoes, you need pay the price spread, and because our mistake, if you also want the shoes, we will free shipping for you, you will just need pay more $255.
Sorry again, wait for your reply soon."

I requested a refund. They responded and said they issued a refund and apologized.

We'll see if I see the money again.

"If it sounds too good to be true...

2 days to go until my RD Nike Mags arrive from the US. Gagging to do a side by side comparison between these & my V2s.

If anyone wants any specific comparison photos let me know! Taking requests!

Anyone address the speckles on the V2s? I notice the originals have more which makes it look a lot more bluer which is a great contrast to the grey.

Im no prop maker or adaptor but even id have a bash at adding a few more to it! ha ha!

What paint would you use and any idea the colour reference?

I take my Lenticular hat off to all on here that tinker and strive perfection in their props!

i dont think theres much difference, if at all with the speckles.

since the speckles are supposed to be random, i think they look pretty much spot on to the 2011 RD mags.

Now the movie shoes, those are completely different. The actual soles on them are completely different to the 2011 official release.

I actually prefer the movie version which is raw and more exciting.

I agree the speckles are applied exactly like the rd mag method used (would still love to know how this is done) and I don't think it's worth the risk applying more speckles as I think they would also stand out slightly from the v2 speckles. Just my personal opinion.

I have been advised the proper colour is made from equal amounts of India Blue and Emerald Green.

I have Emerald Green, but could not find India Blue. So I simply bought a green and blue from the same paint range and mixed them, and they came out pretty close. The exact colour will also be affected my the shade of grey mid-sole it is painted on.

I have not attempted this yet, but thinking of mixing in a small pot (with a small hole in the base) and moving that rapidly over the mid-soles when I re-paint mine (not V2 BTW). I am hoping I will get both streaks and small amounts of pooling.

Hey check this out.

OK we know there is Hero and FX versions of the MAG. Now I thought this entire power lace sequence was the FX shoe, but apparently not. Hero on the left where the splat seems to match the shoes seen later on the hover board.

The part that I am not sure about is these laces. Note the Strap also comes from the wrong side.

*****. Sorry guys. Apparently my monitor is set too dark. I didn't even see the line down the middle of the picture. :facepalm Also, the way he spaced them, it looks like the shot of both shoes in the movie. (And here I thought I discovered a long-missed movie-error!)

In real life, I'm actually very smart, I promise! :)
