NIKE MAG Knockoffs

If they shipped today or tomorrow as we were kinda/sorta led to believe, i'd most likely have them in hand by Saturday or even Friday.

As it is...I don't think i'll see these shoes turning up at my door for a while.

SO as soon as they get them it sounds like there posting them, expect to get these shoes sooner rather than later, i hope you have all ordered your EL panels ;)

I don't know. "The following days" sounds pretty vague.
 
And whilst we wait, I need some feedback please.

This is the new Heel Cup I've been working on. Yes I still need to trim it and the part didn't pull 100%, so I will have to hot air gun the tabs to flatten them. Does this look OK. Off the shoe, I love it. On the shoe and I am just not sure.

The texture is called "haircell" and is standard on the ABS sheets I bought. The flip side is smooth like you might be able to see on the Ankle Buckle is in the photo.

I actually prefer the haircell side out as Vac Pulls tend to come out better. If you get blistering or overstretching, it will be more obvious when the smooth side is out. It was a mistake I made with that particular Ankle Buckle as I will have to now apply a smooth coat finish before I can cast it.

The Ankle Buckles on the Leather MAGs I did have the haircell on the outside and I think it also provides a better resistance against wear and tear of wearing the shoes.

That would actually be a clever way to do that, but I doubt there is a battery in that part. From what the images show, the Ankle Buckle and Strap are just better made parts than those of the V1.

But there are clearly visible recesses in the buckles on the top on the inner heel side of the shoe.
 
So the most accurate part of these shoes are the soles. (Which still aren't that accurate) And so that will probably be the only part left if someone decides to make this as accurate as possible. Just like every other version lol

Sounds like that could work. Use a heat gun to peel the clear sole down, and add in an opaque film to diffuse the light. Glue the soles back on and done.

Too bad they're the wrong shape and are too far apart. But if you want something simple and fast, yeah that could work.

Hi All

I was wondering, does anyone know what shoe box these will be shipped in - will they knock together the yellow box or use the Nike Yeezy box as my V1`s came in.

Not long to go :)

Yes there is, but what that is could be anybodies guess until we get these shoes. I hope it is a charge port too.

I am building my own new pair regardless. From the look of these images, they are not too bad, so apart from minor cosmetic changes, I don't see myself pulling these apart anytime soon. Besides, I am having fun making this new pair.

If you diffuse the light enough not be allow it to be point sourced, it should not matter if the lights are too far apart as the whole diffuser should light up for each.

Anyway, we will see what we will see soon I hope.

We can only hope the box will be a nice yellow one with some neat graphics, however the V1 box was rubbish and even though I still have the one from the size 8s, I doubt this V2 box will be a keeper either - though the shoes are much better looking than V1, so there is still a chance.
