NIKE MAG Knockoffs

I thought they may have went the whole hog and produced the yellow box, the dvd the poster and the nike mag pin, lol, am I expecting too much :p

What ever the final shoe - they have got to be better than my silver V1`s ;-)

And to the guys who are building there own (I wish I had all your talents)

These are Chinese knockoffs and I'd say the Chinese don't really care about packaging like the western world seems to.

So that pin came with the RD MAGs? I thought it was like the ceramic MAG that was an option to buy.

I heard the RD MAGs came with a BD, but hey a DVD would be fine.

I am learning heaps about how these shoes go together and wish I had more leather to do a better job than what I did.

I was only messing about the additional items with the shoes - although it would be cool ;-)

I have seen jedifyfe`s tutorials, they look superb, but I was always afraid to take my MP`s apart, just incase I screwed them up and was left with bits and pieces of what once resembled a Nike Mag.

I was wondering, the Nike mag pictures that was posted up by Air - are they the official ones that will be coming out of the factory, or are they indeed, someone elses build.

I have been pestering a few company`s about the time delay on these mags, but they keep saying that they have no information - i just hope theres not a huge delay.

This is the new Heel Cup I've been working on. Yes I still need to trim it and the part didn't pull 100%, so I will have to hot air gun the tabs to flatten them. Does this look OK. Off the shoe, I love it. On the shoe and I am just not sure.

I would have to search my emails but if you can trust my word on what i was told and that was that these will be in the yellow box.

That's if nothing has changed since then that is..

Cavx, there looking good, i love the shape, texture and size i think there spot on personally.

I was just sitting here and wondering, when these mags do get shipped, they must go through customs which is normal, they will be scanned and the electrics will show through - now I`m not sure about other country`s customs, but would these be opened and checked by the customs to see what they are - but on the other hand, I feel it may be impossible for them to do that, as thousands of electronics go through each day without a hitch.

Like I said before - I wouldnt get more than 1 or 2 packages posted together, the bigger the box (the low gift price on the front) attracts customs - I should know - I lost a package full of football shoes.

Does anyone own the actual dvd and poster that came with the real Nike mags - I would be will to pay for a copy of the dvd and the poster, as I feel it would look fantastic with these V2`s.

Im based in the UK, so if any UK member who has these is willing to do this, it would be brilliant and i`d make sure they were alright :).

Since these are likely to come in the same mostly-crushed bland brown cardboard box as the v1 K-Mags, I think I'm going to be adding the yellow Mag box back to my list of projects.

...just to complete the look.

If they DO make the box, awesome! (But I'm not holding my breath)

How does one go about making the box? Is it relatively simple to find the proper materials as well as construct?
 
The V2's look pretty good. Where is a good place where I could order a pair? Looked back on quite a few pages and didn't see any sites. Thanks for any info.

It's all the basic sorts of materials (chipboard, fabric/paper, magnets, washers, foam, glue) just cut and put together in the right shape...but reality is never quite as easy as that.

I may have an easier way to construct this thanks to my girlfriend, but that is yet to be seen. ;)
