NIKE MAG Knockoffs

They couldn't get the shoe right, so I doubt they bothered with the box. I for one couldn't care less what box they come in. Plastic bag would be fine by me. It doesn't have anything to do with the film anyways. I'd rather have the nike duffle/tube.

Guys, take it from I believe the only person to do a light conversion on the V1 KMAG, they are a complete s**t to take apart. I'm not going to lie, it was such a ballache I'd never do another pair. With the markpoon mags you can literally peel the upper away from the sole, but the v1's had some pretty strong adhesive binding the foam sole to the shoe. You can't even use a paint stripper gun to heat the glue off as all it does is melt the foam. I imagine the same practice is applied with the v2 although I's have to see if it has a foam sole like the v1's or a rubber one like the markpoon.
On another note I now have enough money saved to buy a pair of the real deal 2011 Mags and it's taking a lot for me not to buy a pair!

Hmmm. My order just moved to awaiting shipment. I wonder if that means they're now being boxed and addressed or just that they're waiting for them to come in.

I am sooooooo looking forward to the first set of pics / review of these V2's to be posted in this thread.

You guys are killing me with the suspense :wacko

A paint stripper is WAY too much heat. Honestly, a hair dryer on high is more than enough. I've stripped shoes down too and all I needed was a sharp knife and a blow dryer to get everything stripped cleanly and without warping or melting.

I can attest to that. I used a heat gun on my MPs, and even being super slow and careful, I warped the soles a bit

Airair, have you heard back from your source yet as to how some other guy has the same pics he supposedly took for you straight from the factory floor, PLUS one more you weren't given?

I actually, eventually got that other picture yesterday, they said they forgot to send me it with the other pics. They mailed the pics out to other suppliers too.

I've been told the pictures are of the "factory sample", so they actually haven't pressed ahead with full production of these shoes.

I've also been told they are putting the EL Light on the Strap, but not sure about the soles.

I've told them what needs fixing, especially the toecap and EL Lights, so fingers crossed, the end result is likely to be much better.

Having said that though, expect a slight price increase if they manage to go ahead with all these fixes.

Hi Air
