You can get paint that is used for plastic. It still allows some transparency. But if you want something professional, I would hit up S02 because he has some clear soles specifically for the MPs. They're $130.
 
so basically i just spray the yellow sole with it and it will make it less yellow? is there any examples just to see the results? XD

Since it's spray paint, it will cover up all of the yellow. Spray it in thin, light coats though. Make sure you have some distance from it and do quick passes so the entire area is covered evenly. You don't want it to be too thick to where light can't show through.
 
Kyrlon is very hard to source in th u.k, alternative is Rust-Oleum, it is a paint that bonds to multiple surfaces.
Not sure if that is what you need for doing this as I have never painted the rubber soles before, I used fabric dye to do a tester and worked perfectly just be careful how potent you make the mix as that will depend on how much light comes through.

I was born and raised in Glasgow, Drumchapel to be exact - I think its cool when woman love the Nike Mags as much as we all do - I hope Glasgow is treating you well.

ps. Does anyone know of any sites that are selling these below the $260 - and does anyone think that there will be V3`s - with better quality and a cheaper price, its only that I spoke to Meis from chinashop - and she said that her company will not stock the nike mags anymore.

I hope she`s wrong :-/

Here you go, one thing though.. I would not advise doing this with the upper attached as the dye could get in contact with the grey fabric.

You should go on YouTube and watch a few videos of people dying their soles before deciding as its risky in my opinion, if I was you I think I would just spray paint them.

I kinda had it easier as I stripped the uppers from the soles don't forget that :p

The test piece I have made myself is soft and grips really well to the smooth tiles on my floor. So maybe this might be too soft as the base sole, but what about the sides?

EmmaInCandyland, If you were to use the same clear silicone I used above and take an impression of the MP soles, I bet they look like the ones on the new V2 MAG. Because it is clear, you will be able to back light the stuff and with a bit silicone, should be able to adhere it to your mid-sole.

did you spray paint those soles?
 
No sanding and ye I have a order still with shoebags, I should really contact them and find out if they have heard anymore.

Airair do you mean the rubber sole? No that was fabric dye, the mid sole was spray painted, if you see on the rubber there is spray paint, which was later scraped off easy peesy with a xacto knife.
 
I've been on conact with ShoesbagOnSale on Facebook and they have been quite good in answering all my questions. They said they will gladly refund anyone who paid the pre-order price and does not wish to pay the higher price. They have also said that they do have a new batch coming from another factory. They say the quality will be better and the price lower.

I am waiting for the reply to my question of how this is possible.
