I have a question...If you buy a strip of EL tape and cut it, is whatever you cut off wasted or can you wire up to that as well? I need to know if I need to buy 2 one-foot strips or if I can use 1 one-foot strip. Thanks, friends.

I dont think they know what the price for these is yet, so when in doubt, start high and see what happens I guess? it prolly doesent help that the percieved value of these shoes are linked to charity auction prices and not to reality. prices will fall (some amount) after the new year tho. even in the auctions last year, the first few pairs sold for 2-3 times more than what the average price ended up being. the only pair of mags id spend the amount they are asking now on would be a cloneprops pair, based on the parts ive already seen him make.

Anyone seen this video yet? I ordered a pair, and I don't mind the inaccuracy's.... I love them! Can't wait till my pair arrive! In fact when they turn up I might try for a second pair for display purposes, as I just want to wear them out!

I might just sound crazy, but after the headache of making my own pair I'm happier to pay for these.

I ordered on October 17th, and have yet to hear ANYTHING. Like I said, I'm sitting tight until I see these in someone's hands...and watching my credit card statements in the meantime.

My bad. The other dates are actually my emails to them, so like you I never actually got anything either. Yesterday I sent an email directly to the address where the account details came from and 24 hours later, still no reply which is rude given there is just 2 hours difference between China and Australia.

I'm not at all saying to give in to $280-$450, but shoesbagonsale still seems to be reasonable at $200.

The mistake made here is that the companies listing these shoes should have placed them at a higher price to start with and no one would be complaining. In fact it would have been better to list high and offer a discount, not the other way around as they have done.

It is not about having to pay $200+ per pair because I paid that for a pair of MP MAG that I couldn't even wear. Then I bought V1s and spent almost $300 just on the clear soles.

This is about listing at one price and then asking for more money once the order has been processed and paid for. That is the part I am pissed with.

Is western union safe ? There's a site that still has them at $89. They accept paypal but they are charging 40% of the total price if I use it. Otherwise there's no extra fees with Western Union.

Don't buy the strip because it leaves a blank line running across the el.Look for cuttable el sheet I think ELUMINATES.com has the sheet and you can google cuttable EL

At least with PAYPAL you are covered. CC and it is really upto the bank. Western Union and your in the Sh1t if something goes wrong. There is no way to re-coupe your money at all.
