It's kind of weird having what is essentially a retro box for these "future" shoes. Works though.

something to consider though for those who have not ordered, when the yezzy shoes came out they were $200 then dropped to $150, so on so fourth now they are $55 so i think this will be the same case with these.
Especially if we continue to refuse to pay the extra charge.

So, I only got the payapl payment request from them last night, at the $149 price. But now I don't want to pay at all, because who knows if they'll just ask for more money, like pickgoodshoes did, and tie up more of my cash while trying to get a refund/PayPal dispute.shoesbagonsale now have it for $199.90 ( 4 hours ago they have it at $145)

It's like some sort of Bizarro version of Amazon's pre-order price guarantee!
I wrote them asking if I were to pay the agreed-on lower price will I get the shoes.
But I'm thinking it may be best to just sit this round out, and it's already been overwhelmed with shenanigans... :thumbsdown

I'm doing the way that Jedifyfe has done in his tutorial video. Cheers to him :cheers. But whenI do eventually get a pair of V2s, I will use sugru (the moldable rubber putty I was talking about earlier) to widen the toe area of the mid sole and then slim the toe.

You guys suit yourselves. Like most of you, I have been waiting for these for decades. I'm not letting a little bit of extra cash stop me now. It's still a bargain for shoes to display. Like Pitbull stated earlier, the closest you can get right now will cost you a lot more than these V2's and that will require a ton of modding. For people like me who can't do the mods themselves, it's a good route to go.
Having said that, I got the phone call last night saying my shoes will be shipping over the weekend and shoesbagonsale has yet to ask for more money.

Yeah and the Yezzy is as ugly as ****. No-one in their right minds would want to be caught dead in a pair. China knockoff sites had no choice but to drop the price so they could move what is otherwize dead stock.
As I said earlier, the MAG has been sought after for 23 years. Bet no-one even knows what a Yezzy is by this time next year. The Chinese know this and why they are pushing the price up. They won't drop these because there will be a market for these shoes. And because they are claiming that they are a limited run, the price won't fall too much if at all.
Hope no one is a Yezzy fan :unsure

I don't think so. It is all because of the hype. They had the first fake yeezys out when the hype was on a enormes peak. Now nobody really cares about the yeezys anymore. the same will happen on the mags. Especially because there is now hype in the massmedia actually. There was one back in 2011 when the real mags where released. And on top, the chineese factorys can't hype the shoe as much as they should because of the business they are running. It would be to dangerous to get too much attention to theit fake shoes, at least what thei are producing is illegal. And this fact is my reason why I am not willing tp pay more than 150$ Ans the price will come down when we here at the rpf ( the hardcore fans) will come down and relaxe. Remember we are talking here about the shoes only and not some neewspapers or overhyped bloggs around the world like back in 2011.

I took the plunge and paid by western union to chinashopsell - they didnt accept paypal from people in the UK, and I only have a Mastercard and they only accept Visa.
I spoke to someone called Melis last night who told me not to worry, that she would have them sent in 2 to 3 days.
I then check the site this morning and find that it has been took away - im worried now that I have lost all money and will receive no nike mags.
I placed an order with shoebag, and have the order number, ive yet to pay, but in the account bit its asking for $185 - they have now pushed the price up, but will i still be able to get them for $185
any help is greatly appreciated

I agree with cavx 100% on this one.The yeezys are terrible and no one wanted them cause they weren't true to the film only inspired an the chinese needed to push there stock.There is more involved putting together this shoe meaning lights,wiring accuracy etc.they even said it was there hardest shoe to make.Ill be shocked if the price drops under $100 when they know they can bank off these anytime they want.

for the record i'm not a yeezy fan they are crappy kayne west shoes, unfortunately they are pretty much plastered on every knock-off site so hence why these cought my eye on so many occasions.
But as Chris said these shoes were highly sought after because kayne wore them so everyone wanted them, they made the price high because of this but after the hype went down so did the price and i still strongly think this will happen with these shoes, especially when some people get them and the LED's don't work or stop working.
I can't see the future so don't hold me to this i am only saying what i believe will happen, this does not mean it will, airair i think had a email stating they would drop the price though when the hype went down, if i remember right?
I ordered on October 17th, and have yet to hear ANYTHING. Like I said, I'm sitting tight until I see these in someone's hands...and watching my credit card statements in the meantime.
