Hey Guys
Bil here. Completely new to building props. Saw some of the Nerf guns that were done by the members and thought I'd give it a try. Here's my first one. Have a Hell Boy kit on order and I'm waiting for the next run on Dark Energy's DL44 kit. Planning on doing a Judge Dredd (2012) for next halloween.

Hi, new to this forum,. I'm Dyanna from WV. Glad a friend told me about this site.

Hey guys, I'm Mike. I've been reading the forums for a couple years and I finally decided to start posting. I'm an artist, blacksmith, armorer, prop builder. I'm a huge nerd and I make a little of everything; Stark Trek, Marvel, Firefly, LoTR, Halo. My biggest obsessions though is Star Wars and Hellboy. I'm a member of the Mandalorian Mercs, Dark Empire and working on joining the 501st. Here are a few of my creations.

My custom Mando.

An assortment of Star Wars weapons I've built.

Hey all,

I'm a graphic design student from England with a background in carpentry, I've wanted to start making things for a while now and have started accumulating materials and tools to start this.

Hello ,

My name is DiAra, I enjoy making things. I want to learn more about making costumes and I think this is a great place to learn about this subject. I am from NYC, a mom and a mil vet. have decided to get into cosplaying. I want to make a female predator costume to start the fun. Once I complete it I will share it here and my YouTube channel.

Thank you,
DiAra

Thanks for the add! Hello everyone! I'm a long-time sci-fi fan that has always wanted to learn sculpting, model making, prop design but never thought my art skills were that good. I've dabbled a bit with drawing but ever since I saw MythBusters and SyFy's FaceOff series, I was hooked and began making Halloween props in my garage for fun. Now I'm hooked and want to learn more and hopefully teach myself how to sculpt, paint better, and improve my overall drawing ability. I will be asking lots of questions and hope to meet some awesome people! Cheers! -Tom

Hi All,

New to the community. Been designing/building for a few years now here in NYC. Mostly for friends/artists/cosplayers in the burlesque community. New shop is nearing completion so it seemed like a good time to become active with ya'll. Excited to be back at it.

Cheers,

Andrew

Hi all,
Newbie here. Been reading the Deag MF threads for a few weeks and finally took the plunge and subscribed. I'm fairly new to modelling and made up a couple of small SW kits. Getting to build a big Falcon was just too hard to resist. Lots of great stuff on here to get me up to speed. Looking forward to getting stuck in.

Cheers

Hi, I'm Zsolt from Hungary. First sorry for my english. I'm a long time readerof the forum. I started modelling in my early teens to my late 20's. Wife, childrens so i have no time to do my hobby. In the last few years i started RC flying. A few weeks ago i dig my basement and found a lot of old models, most of them SW related so i infected again. My first "back to the business" project is a Revell Kazoon fighter. Thanks all the great builds, ideas you rock guys!

Hello everyone,

Obviously I'm a newbie. I've made a few costumes in the past, LOTR Arwen Chase costume and typical vamp costume. Found this forum researching Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka costume, which is proving most difficult. Any help and suggestions on fabric, patterns, hat and cane will be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone! My name is Thomas, I am 23 years old and I live in The Netherlands, for those who don't know it is a small country in Europe :)

I have been a Star Wars fan since I was 12 years old (I know not super young haha) but ever since that time Star Wars has been a HUGE part of my life! Now that I am older I want to get into the world of costuming and prop making! So I thought this would be the perfect place for inspiration/tips etc.

I am looking forward to talk to fellow Star Wars lovers!

Greetings from Holland!
