Hi there!
My name is Amy,
Long time lurker, I'm glad I can actually say I a part of an amazing creative community.
I really enjoy the scratch build threads, one day I hope to post my own that could help others the way many here have.

I'm looking forward to learning everything I can to improve my costuming, I mostly cosplay from Borderland and World of warcraft and would love to go back and re do a couple of mine mostly my Durotan costume from the paxaus just gone.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this year.

Hey! I've been coming to this site on and off for a few years and finally decided to join the community. I'm eighteen, live in Washinton state, and I love make, design, draw, and build through inspiration. Lately--due to the force awakens finally being released--I've been working on lightsabers and Kylo Ren costume pieces, but my interests shift an generally span all over the place. I've done a little film too(just a little acting, costume and props, and creative consultant), thanks to a friend interested in becoming a movie director. Can't wait to get more involved! XD
(sorry if the pics are distorted)

Happy to be #10650 to introduce myself!

Good evening! Norwegian semin00b cosplayer here. I stumbeled upon this site while browsing for Kylo Ren fabrics, because I need to do a Kylo Ren (or I guess that would be Kylie Ren or something) cosplay. I just have to. I would like this one to be 501st accurate, so I'm not skimping on details.

I've mainly done sewing and painting so far, but am looking to branch into more serious propmaking.

This site just seems like a fantastic resource for basically everything, and I'm sure I'll pop by often on this and future projects.

Hey guys. just joined the forum and totally stoked to see what i can build up and expand my collection of props and things. I did have a cool little collection but due to circumstances that were beyond my control, I no longer have any. A few of my favorite movies are 5th element, star wars, lotr, judge dredd '99, harry potter, etc. cant wait to check out the site and get some info and ideas. I think my first few builds are gonna be simple and then i plan to go ham on the props I really want. look forward to getting input and info from all of you and getting to share what i come up with.

HI all! I am very new to cosplay. I live in Canada and I have only been to two different expos (in Canada it is a sin to call them cons). I have two boys and my youngest has been asking for me to dress up for the expos with him and so I am hoping that I will be able to make his wish come true this year. This page looks like it will be a great help. Thanks!

Hello, I just joined so I can participate while my daughter and I put together a Rey costume for her to use. I've previously joined the Dented Helmet forum and have a good start on my Boba Fett costume. I've spent a lot of time reading up on Rey's costume and all the time and energy folks have put into it is amazing. It will definitely help with our father-daughter project.

Here's a pic of my Fett at the local theater for the Episode 7 premier:

Hello all,

I've decided after years of watching and wanting, that this is the year to build. So in my researching how to even go about it I ran across this site and after seeing the input, talent, and feedback that the members share I joined.

Hi everyone!

Been stalking these forums for a few years, and finally decided to sign up. I've been cosplaying for 4 years now. I want to improve the quality of my builds and learn lots of new techniques, so this forum is perfect.

Hello all-

I found this site via Propnomicon. I'm interested mostly in props for gaming, primarily Call of Cthulhu, though I am trying to branch out from paper props to more 3-dimensional items.

Hello to all members! For quite some time I've envisioned making movie props that make an impact in people's lives, I have recently created a few precious object from the Harry Potter Universe and thought I would join this like-minded community to take part in the joy and celebration in sharing our creations! I'm thrilled to consider myself one of the many!

Hiya folks,

I am a keen model builder with a very strong lean to all things sic-fi, I have been modelling on and off for over forty years but restarted after ten year break about three years ago. I am a massive fan of Japanese Mecha or any mecha for that matter, all things Star Wars (except Ewoks!) but just about any Sci-fi lights my fire.
I am looking forward to joining this community, I have looked a few times and heard a lot about it so finally took the plunge and joined this morning.

Cheers for now,
Jon

Hello everybody, I have decided to register here to further my quest to get a decent E11 or F-11D Star wars blaster!

Normally I collect antique swords but am now stearing my collection to less lethal replica props, which are just as fun.

I live in the south east of England, hopefully there are a few other Brits here too. :)

Hello everybody,

I've been drawing all my life, but I've recently started making stuff as well. Most of the things I draw and make are entirely my own designs, but I'm a great fan of Star Wars, Doctor Who, Firefly and Farscape, so I may build some props from those franchises at some point. I finally decided to register here, mainly because I'm always keen to learn about making stuff. When looking for tips and advice online about things like painting and wheathering objects, etc... I often ended up here, so I thought I might as well register. ;) I first heard about this place through tested.com.
