Hey out there! I'm Wendy. I'm pretty sure I am, anyway. You know how it is.

The best thing for me to tell you is that J.K. Rowling made me do it. It's her fault. She is the source of my shenanigans. If I could, I would transform my house into a better-than-authentic castle (because, let's face it, castles were cold and drafty and damp and lacked modern plumbing), and somehow manage to place that castle above a large lake in Scotland. Oh, and also I'd become magical in all ways. I'm still working on that. I'll let you know how it goes. So far, nothing. I'm here looking for amazing things that don't seem to exist anywhere else so I can continue making my life look it belongs to someone else. A magical someone else. One that doesn't have to make small talk during a haircut or pay taxes or go grocery shopping. Nice to meet you, everyone.

Hey, I'm Marty. I'm originally from Minnesota, now living in Indiana. I'm just getting started in making props/objects of desire and really excited to delve deep into the forums here.

Hello everyone my name is frank. I am an amateur prop builder and easy foam costume maker. I am always willing to learn from others and I am always eager to take on new projects. I am 47 years old and I live in Chino Hills California. Most of the stuff I build are for friends and my two boys that are into destiny and halo.

Hey guys I'm S2Jesse. Long time lurker and builder of all types of things. I'm the co-founder of a video game company called S2 Games. When I'm not making video games I have a gazillion other hobbies such as machining, sculpting. electrical and mechanical engineering etc. Figured I'd start posting here once in a while and hopefully contribute a little.

Hi, I am Marwan just wanted to pop in and say hi. Always liked the Replica Forum. Considering I am a staff member on the Predatorium, I thought it was about time to expand myself into here. Just so I can harness new skills in general. I hope to meet great individuals who may even become friends. I have been learning from various individuals throughout my tenure since this April.
Things about me in general, I am a professional street dancer. I study history at university and I enjoy my R&R in Croatia. Considering it's my heaven on Earth.
Born in Morocco, but I come from the UK. :) That's a little about me. I hope you see some familiar faces.

Hi, my grandson and I both love Star Wars and I want to make him the outfit the most accurate possible! So glad to have found this website!

Hello, my name is James, and I have been lurking about for awhile, but I think it is time to start contributing. I am a fan of DIY and I love all the skill displayed on this forum, I have not yet built any props myself, but my first project will soon be underway... I know... yawn, another Rocketeer helmet, but you have to start somewhere right?

I am a fan of films that take place in the 1930-1940s, like The Maltese Falcon or The Mummy. My prop focus is on "real world" items that might have actually existed back in the day so to speak.

Hi everyone, I'm James and I'm from the UK. I'm a CNC machinist in the aerospace industry by trade, wanna be rock star on the weekends. I have been a big Star Wars fan for most of my life, and although a collector, I'm very new to prop building. My first real project was an E-11 blaster conversion from a deactivated Sterling L2A3, using all original (or as close as possible) parts. Feel free to check my profile picture and rate my effort.

I've never been a member of any forum before, so please bear with me as I get to grips with all this.
i have recently taken delivery of my first storm trooper armour kit, and I'm really looking forward to the build. I was told this is the place to be for any help and tips I may need along the way.
with any luck, it will go well, and you never know, I may be able help someone else on here one day.

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin. I have completed a full suit of iron man armor made out of 24 gauge steel. My next project I would very much like to be able make captain Americas sheild! Any help from everyone would be fantastic! I want it to be as real and as functional as a real shield.

Well, I guess I should introduce myself, eh?

Hello! I'm Andrew aka DaySighted! I'm an amateur filmmaker and costumer working on my first film project. I'm a also a ridiculously huge nerd if that helps. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hi all,

I'm new to the RPF and new to Internet forum sites like this too! (I know - hard to believe that it's 2015 and this is my first ever forum post.)

I will inevitably make ENORMOUS mistakes and various faux-pas. Please do forgive me.

I'm here because I'm a huge fan of "BLADE RUNNER" and about 1 in every 3 internet searches about BR props ends up here.

Why didn't I join before?

Because I'm an idiot.

Czar.

Hello, um, this is a bit late...

My name is Andrew aka amcnamara79, and I am currently 14 years of age, living in the USA.

I am a severe BTTF fan (since I discovered it in August of 2015), and enjoy browsing the forums everyday to see if there is anything I can improve upon.

Going as 2015 Marty McFly for NYCC '16.

Official prop replicas I currently own:

USA TODAY "Youth Jailed" edition.
Everything that came with "The Ultimate Visual History" hardcover.
A bottle of Pepsi Perfect (10/21/15 Release)

Handmade prop replicas I own:
A lot of unnecessary paper props
Paper props made by Roland Zubcic (Clock Tower Flyer, Gray's Sports Almanac Stunt Cover, etc.)
Foam board Hoverboard (Roland's "Hero" decal printed on canvas, craft foam/Styrofoam parts; needs a total reworking w/lenticular)

Official costume replicas I own:
Diamond Selects™ 2015 McFly Lenticular Cap
HC.com Air Mags (should arrive by December)

Handmade costume replicas I own:
Marty McFly '85 Denim Jacket w/pins (Jacket color & pockets are incorrect; paisley lining and indigo paint job)
Nike Bruins (Cheaply made Polo Ralph Laurens with craft foam Nike logos)
Marty McFly '15 Jacket (Currently planning work on it)

I also do impressions of most of the characters, and I would love to someday work as a character actor, though Marty seems kinda out of the question being 5' 9.5" and still growing.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew McNamara
