I'm into creating wearable tech with LEDs/sounds. I'm hoping to learn other costuming techniques here. Thanks for sharing your work, and if you are ever creating anything that has a circuit, definitely ping me because it may be something I want to blog about. :)

Hi fellow enthusiasts! I've been a LONG time lurker here and am finally ready to break into the world of costuming, prop making, and anything creative :) I am skilled in traditional and digital sculpting and have access to 3D printers that allow me to take my ideas and project them into the real world. So, thank you all for having me and I hope to be just as helpful as everyone is already! What a great, creative, and resourceful community this is.

PS...I was very bummed out I missed SDCC this year, as a first timer...badges are impossible to get...!!!!!

Hello. Breakfast Machine from Los Angeles. Been working in film/TV for almost a decade, including VFX and practical/make-up effects. Now working in theme park, musuem, and attraction production. I'm a long-time reader of the RPF, finally starting to get more active. Excited to collaborate with this community.

Love making and building and molding and wiring all the things.

Hi, there. My name is Michael and I'm a television director from the New York metro area and I've been in the business for about 25 years. Most of my work is live, multi-camera shows but I am also the owner of a cinema camera rig and I shoot documentary-style pieces and other projects with that.

I've been into sci-fi since I was a kid and I've been lurking here for a long time looking at all of the jaw-dropping work that you folks do. I am more of a collector that a builder but I love looking at all of it.

Hello!

I have been a cosplayer/costumer since 2008 and I've loved every minute of it. Up until now my costumes mostly consisted of fabric and some minor clay working. However, now I'm starting into prop and armor making. I may need a lot of help, so I'm hoping to find some amazing talented people willing to lend their knowledge so I can improve as a cosplayer and creator!

Hi Everyone,
My name is Kyle from Colorado. I've been a tinkerer in many things for a while and thought I would attempt some simple prop making. Looking forward to learning some stuff on here!

Hello!

Been poking around the forum for ideas on working with EVA foam. Lots of good tips and advice here. Look forward to contributing in the future!

Hello there,

I am Inkspot, and I am very excited to be here. I have been working with and creating art out of various materials since I could walk. I am currently finishing out my degree at VCU. The official mouthful of a title for " I like to make things" is, Communication Arts with a Specialization in Game Design and Theorycrafting. But I will just stick with I like to create.:)

I am currently a member of the 501st Legion I currently have a TK (stormtrooper) and I am slowly building Bo-Katan. I love Star Wars and all, though I would like to take my skills outside of the 501st and possibly face new issues with armor and other props. I love the new challenges that each project brings.

Hope to see you all around! <3

Hello! I'm Joe from MI - I signed up a while back and been doing a lot of reading. I was directed here from several videos and speeches by Mr. Adam Savage and the guys at Tested. I've always loved building/tinkering with anything I could get my hands on, and now that I've found this wonderful resource I'm working on my first pep ironman helmet :D

Hello!

I'm Pam Reed and I'm new here.
About myself, I'm a massive fan of everything Disney, Back to the Future and Ghost Busters!

I'm currently putting together my outfit to go to the Secret Cinema Back To The Future Screening - that's how I found therpf because I was trolling for costume ideas :)

In real life however - I'm an artist! That can mean anything - literally. From painting to sculpting to writing to making music to dancing to photography.... There are no limits to creativity I believe!

Anyways, I hope to get wrapped up in some good conversation on here!

Hey everybody, I'm Shane aka "Kingbotz" out of New Orleans, Louisiana. I've been building & customizing oversized Transformer-statues big & small since 2006. Growing up I was always a robot-fanatic, builder, mechanic and 2D artist as well. All that came together when I got into this magnificent hobby 8 years ago, wish I'd gotten into it a lot sooner! I just joined up with The RPF today, somebody told me about this site recently after I posted my W.I.P.-thread for my 2007 Transformers movie-replica "Frenzy", so I decided to check it out & post my project soon! I had no idea this site existed, but I'm glad to be a part of it now. Really looking forward to checking out all the tremendous talent out there and see what other people are doing and how they're doing it. Happy building! :cool -Kingbotz
