Hello,
I found this site looking at the blink weeping angel cosplay.
I love the forum discussions and the pictorials on here. I love buffy the vampire slayer, sherlock, Harry potter, doctor who, and most of all batman. I'm very interested in headcannons for anything and cosplay building (also props) if you have a diy costume feel free to send me a link.

Hello All! I'm Josh from the Tampa Bay area. I'm 26. I have my background in fine art and graphic design (graduate of USF). I LOVE cosplay. I pride myself in my ability to create comic and screen accurate costumes from nothing but thrift shopping for the elements I need. This is why my favorite cosplay I've undertaken is the Nolanverse Joker.

This year is the first "large scale" cosplay I've taken on: a custom Batman. I found this forum because I was looking for tips, skills, and methods in bringing my vision of the Dark Knight to life. Side note - this is a lot tougher than I could have possibly imagined, but is an equally rewarding experience. So, thank you to all of the great threads that have been made, dedicated to this topic.

I can't wait to become a more active part of this community! Cheers, all!

Hi Guys,

My name is Simon, for as long as I can remember i've been a fan Sci-fi and comic books. I found out about this site via facebook, I don't do much in the way of cosplay but do enjoy building costumes and Halloween. Currently creating a Jor-El from "Man of Steel" Kryptonian Body Armour costume for halloween which is fun.
Previous costumes I've made are Wolverine from origins (main build for this was the claws), Gambit, Gene Simmons from Kiss and Alex Ross' Batman, also made Harley Quinn, Etzio Alditory (Assasins Creed) and Hawk Girl for my Girlfriend. I will hopefully post some of these pics to my profile (when I find them)

Hey y'all!! Howzit hangin?? Introduction time I guess. My name is Joey!! I am from Queens New York and I found this site while searching for ways to make a spankin' and formidable Spidey Suit!! Currently I am on the search for either some physical lenses or the knowledge necessary to make these lenses.

I don't have much experience putting together elaborate outfits in my time, I usually found ways to make shift the character I was trying to live and pretty much most of the time ended winging em'.

I've done Squall Leonheart and Spider-Man. I'm pretty simple.

Hi, I have actually been a member for about a month or two now I think. I've pretty much just started in propping, after watching some of Chinbeard/Punished's videos and seeing how easy it could be.

So far I've done three pistols from Mass Effect, and the Lambent Light from SAO for a friend for NYCC.
Eventually I will get around to posting some build write-ups for them.
Really enjoying the craft so far, and have just made some baby steps into foam armoring too.

Clutzattack here! I have a degree in Fashion Design and specialize in custom pattern making. (Sorry, I don't take commissions at the moment.)

I am also a young adult novelist and hold a commercial driver's license. For my full time job, I manage a frozen yogurt store, Kiwi Loco, in Palm Bay, FL.

Hey guys, I've always wanted to make props sense I was a kid and saw F/x as a kid, but never found my way in sadly. I'm getting out of the Army shortly and going back to school for electronics engineering and have some skill make things I live in Salem Or and was looking for a regional forums section to meet locals in the area so if there's people in the PNW that want to get together shoot me a PM. Just joined last night. I've been researching how to build a Superman emblem and stumbled upon RPF. Unbelievable talent on here! I don't know if I'll be able to reach the level you guys are at but learning how to 3D mold with vytaflex 40 intrigues me to no end. I'm dressing as Superman(no particular generation) for Halloween so I will post a pic when I'm done building everything.

Hello everyone, my name is Esteban. I am currently residing in Michigan and am a new (first time attempting) crafter and may very well have millions of questions regarding this hobby.
I have had an inclination to try and make props before, but I was most inspired to start crafting by a replica dragonball presented in one of the forums here. I found an image in a google search and was quite impressed, it even had some instructions attached, but I am at a loss as to how to go about creating it.
I hope that this will be the first in many creations in my new found interest.

I have been always in love with monsters and creatures since I was a young boy. I first started sculpting about 11yrs ago, and fell in love with the fact I can make my own whatever! I always hated the costumes sold at the store, mask with no body, no hands or feet. I always told myself I will always make a costume from head to toe. So far ive done the Predator(burnt out on it) Alien, creature from the black lagoon, predator 2, Godzilla, and now TMNT! Just love watching peoples reaction when I say I made it myself. DB
