Hey Brian,

Didn't we meet at D*C this year? Like...a bunch? If not, then I apologize!

Sorry, wrong Brian!

I didn't realize there were three of us in a row! I was actually referring to the Brian above you. :)

The other, other Brian.

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hello everyone!

I'm Max I've been coming here for awhile looking around at all the neat stuffs. I've been doing my own things for awhile and figured since I always seem to come here for inspiration I might as well become a member! So that's the story of me. Glad to be here and finally be able to post about how much I drool over the things people make and about how much they inspire me to keep up with my own projects!

Thanks,

And here I thought you could never have too many Brians!

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hi all, of course like a lot of people I landed here because of Adam Savage talking about props.

I'm not at all skilled at making but I do love looking at and learning about Props and enjoy seeing the skills going into those that are made and also those genuine ones that were actually on film. It's always been interesting to me.

I can see myself lurking a lot and reading but I hope I can join in the discussions and the fun, seems like a really nice community :)

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hi everyone!

My name is Kaitlin and I'm pretty new to making props and costumes...joined this group about a year ago when I decided to do my first costume, a Black Widow build for last Halloween. Mostly been lurking since then, but finally decided to go ahead and introduce myself :). I've been dabbling in mold making and paper props recently - currently working on some Middle Earth map replicas and a Wolverine costume - and am excited to join in the discussions and community...the talent and knowledge here is overwhelming and inspiring!

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hi all!

Name is Andre, I'm a graphic designer that has always been into furniture, sculpture, and the like.
Raised in San Diego, so comicon has probably really got me into costume and prop building.
Moving to Auckland, New Zealand in about 3-4 weeks, so I'd love to know if there are any other kiwis on here.

This site is a great resource, and it helps people press on when they can show off their work, very cool stuff!

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hey rams, I'm from cocoa beach and I'm at megacon every year. I'm just wondering if I know you. Are freinds with anyone from the R2 builders?

Not really. I see them every year and stop by to see their work. but I don't know any of them personally.

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hello all! I actually don't have any costumes right now unless you count my rubber Boba Fett helmet that was signed by Jeremy Bulloch himself. I'm hoping to start a collection soon though, with the help of this forum of course!

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hello, all! I build weapon replicas (mostly of Mjolnir, but I have also built some original weapons, as well). I'm just looking to be able to talk to some other replica-builders and enthusiasts as well.

Hi there! I'm KChan, aka Kerry, and I'm a cosplay geek! I've been sewing since I was a little kid, but I've always wanted to better my skills at making armor and props, so here I am! I hope that I can learn a lot from the amazing people I've seen while lurking here! :D

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hi Everybody! I love costuming and props. My costuming ranges from horror and renaissance to super heroes and Star Trek (my fav). There are so many talented people out there that I just usually put together outfits from others creations. I've always wanted to get into creating concepts myself and thought this would be a great place to start!

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hello world I'm new to this wonderful website and glad I'm finally taking the leap into prop building and cosplay, it seems addictive lol. As I'm new to this website I'm not a stranger to fiberglass or resin so this is gonna be great art is a huge part of my life I own my own film production co and currently work for att as a chief editor. I still do car audio and trunk work I am proud to share with this community something I think is missing that can save everybody some time I have been using sunflash resin for a little while it's kinda new product. Beautiful thing about this guys no catalyst to mix or measure you can use straight out the bottle very little smell so no need for a lot of venhilation and guess what that only catalyst is SUN. You apply the resin bring your project into the sun and you will see you project dry in literally under a minute. Check it out I buy this stuff on a monthly basis SMD SunFlash Resin - SMD Install Tools / Electronics. I encourage anyone who is knew to using or experienced to use this it will save you literally hours of cure time. I am gonna be starting my first project in a couple weeks making an iron man costume for my godson I will post progress .
