Hi all, always nice to post in the new members thread. :)

I'm Aaron from Australia, already can see a few friendly and known faces here.

I'm tracking down information regarding the Super Star Destroyer Resin builds, plenty of information here. Both of the model and methods to help alter and construct it. So I hope that I can learn a lot from everyone here.

Hello all!

Like many new members, Adam Savage sent me here. I have been making things since I was a kid, and great videos over at tested.com inspired me to start lurking months ago. I started with the Blade runner blaster thread, then got caught up in the AMAZING Solo ANH blaster thread, and then rekindled my old flame, Firefly, by finally landing on a bunch of Mal pistol build threads.

I will be starting a Mal pistol scratch build thread soon, so hope to see you there!

Hey Guys! Brand new here. I was wondering if anybody had an Iron Man suit template for someone who is 5"11. I have a MAC and cant get the software to do it.

Hello everyone! New member here. My name's Christina.

I recently got into costuming as a full-time hobby a couple of years ago but it's mainly been soft parts only like tunics and some light leather-work. I stumbled across this forum looking to learn more about foam building costumes

I then joined this forum to learn more about crafting props primarily but also to see all the awesome costumes. I look forward to being able to improve my skills!

Hello everyone my name is Raul and i'm from Long Beach. I found this site while looking for pepakura files to work on and get some ideas on my own costume builds. I'm new to this and I already love it. I'll be posting up my Red Hood costume build soon once I get all the pictures ready. This is now one of my favorite websites and I love the atmosphere here. I'm hoping to get better at this new favorite hobby.

Hey All

My name's Gareth and I'm from Wales in the UK, A country so awsome we have a dragon on our national flag.
I've always loved movies, props, fancy dress, video gaming so about a year or two ago I decided to make my own fancy dress costumes, Jedi/Sith Robes etc then made my Master Assasin Creed costume, and more recently a Mordecai oufit with Sniper Rifle and CL4PTR4P, and Game of Thrones Dragon Eggs in Chest ( I have pics on my profile if anyone is interested, also all coments gratfully recieved ) and I now have more projects in my mind than ever A couple steampunk familiars, (Parrot & Dragon) another Assasins Creed outfit, Steampunk Pirate/Captain :)
Its awsome to have such a library of knowledge and help out there, It can be pretty daunghting when your a noob,

Hey everybody! You can call me Jin, or just use my screenname Theangel.

I initially joined this site back in 2011, and I was so stunned by what I saw (because really, all of you guys are awesome and I feel like a n00b) that I kinda hid away from here. It wasn't until about last week that I was purchasing a prop from eBay that the person routed me to this site where they'd gotten the prop initially.
I couldn't have been more shocked when I was brought back to this site. So, I pulled up my old account info, signed back in, and saw awesomeness yet again. But this time I wasn't scared off, and I don't intend to run away again.

I love building props even though I'm not very good at doing it. I think it's more that everything I draw up gets lost in translation and my (slight) obsession with trying to do it right the FIRST time sometimes keeps me from doing the job altogether. I'm not familiar with all the different medias to use with building, and so I'm hoping through (FINALLY) posting on here that I may be able to get some awesome insight into how to make a successful piece. I love art (graphic designer).

I also love buying props. Justsayin' <3

Hello! I'm Ohlm, from Italy. I like and practice various kind of arts, drawing, music, woodworking, sculpting... and recently I have been interested in prop making. I think this place is really interesting, I'm sure I will learn a lot from this forum.
I mostly use wood (I have some experience in woodworking because I've built electric stringed instruments) but I'd like to gain experience with other materials (metals, clay...).
I think I will show you some things I've done.

Hi there,

Red Howler here, I work as a mold maker in London for a company that makes sculptures for modern artists. I have a couple of personal projects that are yet to get off the ground, but hopefully will get a chance soon to work on them and will gladly share pictures of them developing.

Very grateful to become part of the RPF community as I always learn something new everytime I visit.

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a while but only signed up... recently.

Anyhow, I mostly sew but recently I've been starting to do that little bit extra for costuming. I'm starting work on a Fallout3 themed costume (pipboy build soon (because there aren't heaps already)) and a Captain America costume set for my sister and I (shield etc. soon too).

I'm thoroughly impressed by all the costume and prop builds I've seen on this forum so far :)

heres hoping I can keep up with the standard.

New Member here :) Have been following a lot of your work for a while and decided to take the plunge on building an Iron Man Suit! My wife is not happy about it as it will end up being 3 times as expensive as I plan and take at least twice as long... but I am a perfectionist and love creating things with my own hands! can't wait to dive into this!

I'm new.
Starting a stormtrooper Pepakura Suit with my housemate tomorrow.
Ill try to figure out how to post so i can show the progress as it happens.
any tips or pointers more than welcome.
