Hello! My name's Caleb. After a lot of recommendation and encouragement from my friend William (Haystack Hair), I've finally joined! The reason I didn't for so long was because I'm not actually much of a fan of making props and the like. I prefer [attempting] to make actual devices, but William tells me that this place will still help a lot, even for that sort of stuff. So here I am, at last. And hopefully I'll have a great time here.

Hi, Name's Gilder.

I've lurked here on and off for a while and followed a few specific builder's blogs and such, wanting to create stuff of my own. I stumbled across Stealth's pepakura and foam tutorials on youtube and decided that it was low cost enough as a good place to start.

Made a few Skyrim Dragon Priest masks, and just finished assembling my first Iron Man helmet and am absolutely in love with the thing.

Posting here and checking the FAQ and such before I go on the new guy question spree.

Hello All!

I am Matheus from Brazil, I study Computer engineering at PUCRS university and love to make things..
Already made an electric guitar and started to make a Halo 3 Master chief helmet in pepakura, but my brother step on it and ruined my work..
Anyways, I am interested in spiderman, star wars, and some other costumes, like Looper guns and Driver gloves : )

Hey all!

I'm Stacey from Australia. I've always wanted to make costumes but then I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it. But now here I am doing my first attempt at a costume. I'll be posting my new thread on the WIP when i at least get the first piece done. Quite afraid ill go through all the effort to make one piece and stuff it up though.

But yeah I'm interested in a lot of movies and games. And I hope to become part of this awesome community.

Hey, I have been lurking around in here for some time and thought it was time i joined.

Sutch an amazing forum with incredebly talented people!

I am pretty new to building things, I have been doing cosplay for 1,5 year now and sofar i have 2 costumes. A Spartan from Halo:Reach (Jun) and a Commander Shepard from Mass Effect.

I am currently working on some new projects for cosplay and will continue with it in the future.

Hope to get to know some of you in the future!

Hey everyone,

I went to my first comic convention last summer and dressed up as Dr. McNinja. I had a great time and admired all the well done costumes such as gears of war, halo, and various comic characters. Inspired by these I set out to make my own outfit, along the course of which I found this excellent site. I attempted my first pepakura on an iron man mask over Christmas holidays and will attempt to fiberglass and add electronics to it this summer while on university break.

Hey there folks...

Stumbled across this site after spotting a link to robo3687's pepakura designs for the Ironman mk4/6 suit... have been lurking for a couple of weeks picking up hints and tips, and thought it'd be a good idea to register \o/

A lot of awesome craftsmanship from a lot of awesome people here - I'm just hoping I can produce something 10% as good as what I have been seeing

Heya !

I'm Cassandra , often called Cassy but mostly Khalee .
I came across the RPF several times since i began to build stuff , altough i didn't finished anything yet . I'm into Prop-Building and Set Building with a bunch of friends , i'm a member of the Prospectors Squad from the Belgian Garrison , waiting to turn 18 to become an official 501st Legion member .

Right now , i'm building a Halo Reach armour + Plasma pistol , i'll soon begin a Colonial Marine armour + m4a1 Pulse Rifle if i ever finish the Halo one , and i might begin my most ambitious project ever right after : a screen-accurate , fully detailed Lannister armour from Game of Thrones , scratch built ( soldier armour , and perhaps make a variante to " upgrade " it into Tywin's armour ) . It'll be a hard , solid one , i'm not fond of foam . It looks great from afar , but very " foamy " when you look at close-up .
