hi everyone im kwiki aka rod i stumbled upon this forum out of luck as im making a dredd lawgiver 2 out of foam and filler its my 1st time doing it as i normally kit bash model cars from films ill post pics of them soon

anyway im from london i love films kit bashing and now sculpting i worked for a while in a studio doing props which gave me the bug to open my mind and do more lol

i am also in the process of making a iron man mk3 helmet from fibreglass which i got as part payment from my job also a m41a pulse rifle from foam as i said im new to all this stuff so im by no means as good as most of you guys but im learning woooop nice to meet you all keep up the great work

I found your forum through the Advanced Iron Iron man forums.

I'm based in the UK, originally from Ireland.
I am an Iron Man fanatic for over 35 years so what with the Marvel movies now I am living through a dreamtime for me!!
I am an avid collector of props, mostly replicas but I did acquire an original screen used prop from the first Iron Man movie last year, his butt plate from the Mark I suit.
So I can literally say " I own Iron Man's Ass!!"

Hey there, I'm Justin from Ontario, Canada. I'm a hobby woodworker and a few months ago I made Link's master sword (from the Zelda games). I wanted to make the Hylian shield to go along with it. I found out about pepakura, which led me to Stealth's youtube tutorials (which are awesome!), which led me here. I love the site, so many talented people and amazing creations.

My name's Devin. I've been a big tokusatsu fan all my life and would really like to work my way up to being able to produce helmets to the same caliber as the show. I'm also finding my wings in comicbooks so over time I'm coming across other characters I'd love to make. Only problem is, I have no idea where to start haha

I recently only just found out about the RPF from various prop builders i follow on FB. Never knew this site even existed!

Massive fan of costuming and building costumes for movie/tv related media, currently studying Fashion & Textile design Foundation level and awaiting to finish in june 2013 so i can either go on to do Fashion design BA Hons or costume design BA Hons.

I mainly dabble in paper 3D templates building gundam and mech costumes out of paper first to build a template then transfer it to a better medium.

Amazing site i must say and so many resources and tutorials to help.

RPF,

My goal for the last few years to find a authentic replica Ironman costume has left me empty handed many a false offers and no response. My Mission has finally led me here. Being a new member i'm excited to see the amazing quality of the work and enthusiasm that goes into the creations. I sadly don't have enough time to build my own costume but do have the funds and determination to find one. So i will start now to embark on a journey to get to know the creators here and hopefully commission or purchase an authentic Ironman Costume!

If any of you out there are doing the same and are more experienced with the site please feel free to PM me or respond to my posts. I really need some help finding my way around. Tips, guidelines, Links to appropriate posts, names of people that create replica costume runs would all be helpful!
