Hiya people, I am Clive cosplayer from Singapore. Hello everybody!
I am new to prop building, and found this form to help my skills grow from apprentice to master. I am an avid Star Wars fan, and I am involved in 3 Star wars clubs in the Texas area, mainly focusing on cosplay for charities and Lightsaber combat. I am currently working on my costume, I will be costuming as a Sith Acolyte form Star Wars the Old Republic.

My name is Jack, and I live in South Texas with my wife and kids. I've always loved super heroes, Star wars, and KISS.
I've always been interested in costuming, prop collecting etc. Having a deformed spine really held me back in a lot of ways, but this past April I had titanium rods put in me. Now I'm ready to take life on, and really start enjoying myself. So, here I am, among others with similar passions. and there are very few sites with people that inspire me the way I've seen people on here do! I look forward to learning a lot from you.

Hey RPF!

I guess I should introduce myself. Name's Trues. I've been going to Comic-Con for a few years and stand in awe every trip at the brilliance behind so many costumes. I strive to create one of my own. My experience is limited to aircraft model making and pepakura vehicles (and an engineering degree). However, I've been lurking RPF and seeing the true potential peps offer. My interests are mainly in Alien, Indiana Jones (our dog's name is Indiana ), and Marvel comics.

My mission: to create the most screen-accurate and functional Prometheus spacesuit as I can, within reasonable funds.

How I plan to do it: I'm going to warm-up to large-scale pep by running through a few iterations of Iron Man masks (I-IV). This will teach me more efficient pep building, along with hardening and reinforcing techniques such as rondo or fiberglass usage. I will pull from my electronics/programming experience and apply that to the masks and suit as well. Hopefully, my engineering background, attention to deal, and motivation for perfection will lead to a very satisfying result.

Wish me luck! If I am to make it to CCI 2013, I will need a lot of determination (and a nice Christmas bonus wouldn't hurt)!

hay guys im new today and am loveing this site.
iv been building an iron man mk 4 suit out of eva foam and so far so good.
would however like some help on the best way to seal it before painting theres so many ways i dont no wich way to goand dont want to reck my suit.
i have a lil under 2 month to have this complete so would appiciate any help at all thanks :thumbsup

Hi, been here a few months and I've been using all types of 3D software to create models, right now I'm trying to learn unfolding so I can complete a long list of projects. I started a thread if anyone wants to unfold, all I ask is that you post what you unfold because it might help other people complete a project.

Hi everyone!

I have known about The RPF for quite a while but only now am I really getting into my building/prop making. I am a qualified make up artist, I especially love doing horror/zombie make up. I studied art and love anything creative!

I am a bit obsessed with The legend of Zelda and a couple of my favourite films are The fountain, The Batman trilogy, Super, Kickass, 300, Coraline, Iron man, Donnie Darko etc.

I have built bits and bobs before but I am looking forward to really getting in to it.

Hi i'm Tara, I got intrested in replica costume making when watching a feew vids by Stealth on youtube. I am working on the Iron Man Mark IV armour, but i recently go an assignment and decided to use pepakura for it on a medievel knight helmet and sword out of foam, so i've been looking for files but none yet. I'm a AFFC and love Tony Stark as my username 'Pepperony506' might suggest. I hope to have my history assignment finished in a month with photos and a video on youtube lol:thumbsup
