How did I end up here? Well, I was watching a Mythbusters marathon today and saw Adam wearing a Nostromo crew shirt, and thought 'wow, that's ******* COOL! I want one!' So after a quick Google search, I found the mega-thread Alien/Nostromo costume thread. I read...and read...and read...and was hooked. So now, I'm a proud member of the RPF!

Hey everyone, LDJosh here, known across the internet mostly as LDJosh and sometimes as the full lameduck josh. I was big into cosplay about 9 years ago until the end of my first (and last, long story) year of college when I fell off the radar. In the meantime I still did cons, played video games, ran various podcasts, etc... but only a few months ago got back into the cosplay scene and WOW has it changed in the last 10 years. About a year ago I quit my job and went into business for myself as a freelance programmer, and my extra time has afforded me the ability to throw myself into projects. I have a lot of ideas for upcoming projects and this site is an amazing resource. You'll be seeing a lot of me around here.

Hello all
Im a father of 2 teens and been married for 17 years and my hobbies have always been to build stuff for my marvel collection, also a big fan of halo. Well I started building my pepakura about 2 months ago, now I have 5 helmets of ironman 3 paper style with resin and bonds,2 by foam in which I think is much easier, I give this website and 405 th major props it's helped me big time and stealth's video was very good, anyways thanks for letting me hop in here too

Hi! I'm Tom and I live in England. After lurking for a couple of months I've finally decided to step forward!! I'm mainly interested in props from back to the future and Indiana home (like most!) but I also like memorabilia from theme parks, especially universal studios Florida. My only "prop" is a sign from universal with the recently discontinued back to the future: the ride (R.I.P!!) I'm currently building a small budget flux capacitor as my first project and look forward to owning/building a screen accurate version one day!! I've been making games since '96 and am currently working at Bethesda Game Studios after a 9 year stint at Epic. For the last 2 years I've been trying to learn the ins and outs of modeling, molding, and casting to recreate props from Fallout. I've been posting pretty frequently to Facebook and have only recently discovered RPF. I can't believe I've not seen this before.

Hi all. My Names Randall Jones, just refer to me as Jones since im military, Screen name RimWolf. Im part of a couple different organizations. SoaringHammer.com (another prop forum started by Ithica) MandalorianMercs.com, 501st Legion.com, and Rebel Alliance.com. I have mostly star wars related probs. 3 Mercs... Soon to be 5... and then possibly a 6th later on. One clone for 501st but one of my mercs will be approved through both 501st and mercs if i do it right. and one Jedi. I also have a Halo Hyabusa I bought off Ithica. and if i ever actually get my commision i should have an Iron Man kit aswell. I've actually only been doing props for a year or so but ive learned alot and am interested in learning more. My specialty is electronics but i havent been able to apply it to any of my current kits. I've just stuck to casting/molding/and everthing conserning those two fields. Interested in peping soon if anyone has any anime based pep files i'd like to make something like that next. thanks

Hi, call me JD. I am a modeller who is into modern era planes, ship, AFV, figures and selected Sci-Fi. Been doing this since 1973 but once having a family and raising 2 boys, certain things need to take priority.

I've purchased some equipment and want to get into creating props now. I have been reading the forums for quite a while and I am always impressed at the ingenuity I see on these forums. I am into classic Star Trek, Blade Runner, Alien/Prometheus, and and a lot if 1950s and '60s sic fi. I just like the retro look of the designs.
