Hello all!

Psab Keel here. I've lurked these forums for a few years now and joined in January 2011. I've been a part of the prop community for quite a few years now, along with many other forums. I'm astounded by the talent of the members here and I hope I can add something to the prop, replica, and costume experience.

Hey,

New to these forums. I'm just starting my journey into costume building, from scratch (pardon the pun!). Anyway, I do a lot of children's appearances at hospitals and foundations and such, and I'm tired of wearing lame store-bought costumes and I want to give the kids something they can really believe in. So I'm here... (well... and I really enjoy dressing up!... my guilty pleasure!)

I´m Michael (please call me Micha! ^^). My profession is Cabinetmaker.
i live in Hamburg/Germany and i´m interesting in reading , Guitarplaying or watching senseful & intense Movies (No comercial Bulls***) ... and Computer hard/software.
By the way, i´m 51 years old - but i look like ~ 38.
i bekame 3 times "wedding proposals" , but i´m not downward compatible. xD

My name is Nic. I am curreny in college in a Pre-engineering program and trying to get into prop making. I love the art of prop making and i am working on making props for a Fallout short flim. I'm only working on the first gun right now, but i hope to make at least 3 more, plus some iconic Fallout props.

Hello everyone. I finally got around to finalizing my account here, as I signed up in October.
Pretty lazy huh? Been busy with my first love over at filmjackets.com. I go by the same name there as well. So if you recognize me, as I'm not familiar with screen names here yet, please feel free to let me know who you are, so I can say 'hi' back.
I'm a geek, mainly comics and zombies. I just received 2 sheriff patches from themechanic last week and stitched them on my A2 Bomber jacket. If anyone is interest I can post them as soon as I can after my dues are up. You guys here seem to have everything in order, as far as a serene, family atmosphere, which is very respectable. So I'm happy to be a new member here.

Hello all

Found this site a while back and loved all the resources and info on props. I work with a haunted house, but I make all sorts of stuff not related to ghosts and generic representations of every horror movie monster, too. I love making pretty much anything( ya know, just Creating), but it's older stuff that really gets me going. 15th century and beyond. Of course, the hardest part is finding reference photos for anything other than clothes or weapons. Ever tried to find a good photo of a lantern from the mid 1600s? It's a challenge.

Anyway, that's me in a small nutshell.

Hi I am Tim from the uk,i started making costumes when my children were at school,now they have all grown up and moved out,i restarted making small stuff a couple of years ago,i have now progressed to the more interesting props, i have just completed my Darth vader outfit,and i am in the process of finishing a Halo and Predator costume,i started these together as i learnt from making the vader costume it is very very time consuming.I now have my own website to showcase my items and hopefully sell a few.

I have been lurking around for a while now and am finally getting around to introducing myself. I have enjoyed this site very much and have been inspired to get back to work on some of my own creations. I will take some photos of what I have started and look forward to your input. I enjoy building mainly weapons, I have done a few lightsabers and have a custom blaster that needs to be finished. Thanks and I hope what I have to contribute to this site will help someone else

Good day folks - I have just joined the fray!

I am a Melbourne based creator or sculpture and props along the lines of the steampunk or diselpunk aesthetic, but I am also a Blade Runner/Star Trek/Star Wars/Firefly fan.

I have not attempted to replicate any known props yet (probably because my replicator is broken and only makes a brown tepid liquid somewhat like tea but not tea)...

... but one day I will.
