Hi all,

Nice to meet you, Im fairly new into all this, Ive made a few bits n bobs, a weeping angel, Steampunk Dalek, Iron man helmet (made badly) and am working on a wearable Ood head at the mo.

although this is Who heavy, Im a fan of all sci-fi and movies, its just coincidence ive done these

next project is a Back to the future hoverboard :0

OHAI.

I've been meaning to make my post here for what seems like forever, but keep forgetting! I've always loved film and television, and always had particular fixations on specific items. Usually items of power. I don't know what that says about me. Good things I assume.

I started making my own props fairly recently, and am currently working on the Diagramma della Verita from 'Angels & Demons' as well as expanding my (currently) modest collection; I don't know what it is about a prop that makes me want it, but sometimes things just catch my eye and I have to have them - such as the >BIGYELLOWTRUCKVEHICLE< Keyring from Kill Bill AND MORE IMPORTANTLY the music video for Telephone

I'm also becoming more and more amazed at the different 'My collection' threads. I love seeing what everyone has and how they display their stuff! And also things I might want to grab in the future

hello,

im super new to the prop stuff. im working on my 1st project now which is just paining two props i bought at a comic con. appearently im not very good at painting as i have had to start over from scrach and been working on this for over 2 weeks. im a comic book geek, mostly into DC comics.. and star wars.. love it..

i posted a new topic on my troubles with my props if anyone could help me out with an idea that would b amazing,... thank you guys

G'day Dudes!

I've been put on this site via Backyard Fx using Skruffys Awesome Pipboy 300A models and i wanted to get my hands on one

I'm no stranger to prop building, so far Its been mostly building halo armor and such but I'm growing out of halo and towards fallout with the almost completion with my CQB suit

I'll get some work up soonish I guess, If I'm doing something wrong please inform, this forum seems quite a bit different to the 405th :/

Hi, actually just joined the site a few days ago, but got the courage to say hello today. I'm Roger from the US (North Carolina to be exact) and I rein in prop replicas as well as replica costumes.

Here is a Character Options 9 and 10 screwdriver that I've modified heavily to be more "proplike". While I realize that the blue indention should be thinner, I didn't want to go about making it the proper size, and I'm pleased with the results .

Hope to enjoy the forums as much as everyone else is here and I hope to post more of my props in the future!

How goes it,
looking foward to seeing the work of some talented people. My new hobby has been buying those new nerf dart guns and painting them using blacks, greys, browns for the stocks, metallics etc. make them look real. Some look really cool when the bright yellows and oranges are removed. Anyway glad to be part of this.

Hey everyone!

My name is Jordan, origionally from MI but now living in NC. I got into costuming through the 501st as a TK and then a CT, and it has led me to other groups along the way. I also costume as several different versions of Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter and Edward from Twilight through the O.W.L. Society(I can hear the groans already). My favorite costume to date though is my 300 Spartan as it shows off the hard work and sacrifice I put in at the gym all year long. All of my recent costumes have been completed along with the "matching" female costume for my wife, and I'm currently looking to do a superhero set like Spiderman/Mary Jane or Superman Returns/Supergirl (Michael Turner version) and to learn alot from the talented people here along the way.

I'm Matthew. I live in Los Angeles and was a movie set medic on and off for 12 years or so. Pity I never got to hang around in the prop dept, just on second unit sets.

my name is Felix.
I´m from Munich Germany and a RC controllt R2 D2 is my current project.
Which will take at least 3 more years.
Sins i´f bin more a building than a using guy.
Time is not that imortant for.
I enjoy making stuff my self.

The actual reason for me to join the forum, beside that this is a real cool place
is that i whant to build the ZF-1 ( the weapon from Zorg (Fithelement)).
And there seem to be quite a bit of info around.

Hi everyone, hopefully the first of many posts.
Been lurking around here for a while and i thought it was time to share what i am working on. I am currently trying to film a short film, based on Nazi Zombies, its been done, i know...but i want a bash at it!

anyways, when i began this i didn't even own a drill, and now i am in the final stages of finishing my workshop! (pics soon) another side of the this project is that when i started it i was wanting to pay homage to COD nazi zombies, particularly the weapons. however as i found RPF and other resources i am now designing my version of the ray gun and wunderwaffe.

So i guess look out for the posts on the prop weapons for the guns and the costumes under well....costumes.

My name in real life is Videobob.
I'm a video producer and work with some cool heavy metal stars.
One of my best friends is Vinnie Paul from PANTERA and his new band, HELLYEAH.
I have done some of his videos and DVD's.

I specialize in movie cars, specifically the Delorean Time Machine.
I have built 6 of them so far.
I have a dedicated shop in Dallas where I build the cars and other props.

Hello!

My name is Judge Hicksy. I am currently in Afghanistan with US Marine Corps on my second combat tour. I am a long time Dredd fan hailing from Central Florida. I am stationed out of Hawaii though. I'm looking to make a super awesome Sly Stallone Movie costume for this next Halloween and any conventions. Any help with this would be great as Ive hit a lot of road blocks and will be starting from square one.
