Very happy the join the forum, it's nice to see such a wealth of talented people.... Some as mad as ME :rolleyes I'm pretty involved in Terminator stuff right now, a big project, building a life sized fully articulated T800 in metal, YouTube - Terminator Arm but I do like all sorts of movie props with a particular soft spot for swords... I hope to be an active member of the forum and I hope you guy and girls like my work...

Hi,

I joined a little bit ago and have been reading and taking in all the posts. I'm currently doing a Han Solo in Carbonite and building as much as I can. I collect mostly Star Wars stuff, but will go after just about any cool and well made prop.

Hi my name is Alexander Sanchez. I am 33 male from CA I am an ex special effects artist I have worked on movies and videos since 97.I got into doing special effects because I wanted to own some of the stuff I seen on the big screen and wanted to learn how they made monsters and masks,props.I have worked for Alterian Studio,Screaming Mad George,ADI,Steve Wang,Chet Zar.I continue to sculpt masks for Lubatti Designs and will be working for Trick or Treat Studios line up this year.I am interested in Spiderman the 77 tv series as well as the 2002 movie.I also worked on that at ADI. I was a foam runner on Spiderman and worked on some molds.I am a big comic book fan my rare prop I have is Bane from Batman and Robin I have a lifecast of actor Jeep Swenson I also have one of the remote controls used in the movie and the chest parts,back piece and have to have a new mask sculpted.I collect horror and superhero stuff mostly if I cant find it I will try to make it, Thank you I can't wait to get to know alot of people who like props just like I do. :love

hey everyone, I've come here to look for advice building a Green ranger suit as I come to questions in building it. I have built a Vader suit before and I am looking forward to trying this project. hope to make it nearly all (sans helmet) from scratch so it should be a fun project for the summer.

Hello, somehow I missed this post and forgot to give an introduction. I know several of you from other forums and what not and finaly have made it over here.

I'm Chris and live in the Tampa Bay Area. I've done costuming for a while and enjoy building kits and sewing. Currently working on Kroenen, Jareth goblin king, Scorcher Republic Commando (A TZA build) and a Space Marine all for D*C.

Hello I've lurked on and off for ages but finally plucked up the courage to register!

I have some eventual costume goals but I need to drop about 50kg/110lbs first otherwise it would just feel... wrong. Until then, I'm enjoying watching the builds and technique discussions. This place really is an amazing corner of the internet!

Happened onto the forums here after looking around for ideas for home made costumes for next year's local comicon. I am absolutely amazed at the dedication and level of detail so many folks here put into their work. It's obvious that it's a passion for so many on here. Looking forward to easing into a few easy builds first before attempting to heavy pep costumes that I've browsed through on here. Keep building and look forward to seeing everyone's creations as time goes on!

Been visiting here for a couple of months and blown away with the creative talent here.So only normal I had to join.
Love my SciFi and anything to do with it,s imagination.Due to a huuge backlog of projects around the house havent built my first prop yet but the fire to build something is strong.Hope to make some cool friends here..
