Hey everyone. I'm here because the build for a horus guard helmet was on here and it looks awesome. Anyway. I hope to contribute some awesomeness at some point.

Hi all. I like collecting, and am exploring investing in the Shoretrooper uniform. I'm located in the state of Georgia.

Currently browsing projects you have done, lots of good ideas, an I appreciate your sharing. I'm pretty cherry to props: I don't have the equipment to fabricate, I'm not experienced with art, so I'll probably purchase the items.

Not much else to share, I'm pretty bland.

Howdy.
Longtime lurker. Thought I'd make an account. I've been a propmaker for years but have very little personal items under my belt.
Not much to say.

Hello all! Have been away from props for a while but have always been a reader of
the rpf and I'm getting back into collecting. I'm a member of other various collecting sites (same handle) but don't post too often. I thought I had set up an account here years ago but apparently not! Anyways I look forward to being here more actively.

Hi!
My name is George, I am from Moscow, and I've been lurking around for a while, mostly looking for pepakura files and general advice.
I love doing things with my own hands. I'm still not good enough to make beautiful props, but I'm learning little by little.

Hey all!

New account as it appears that I was not active enough on the last one of the same name...

Always building something! 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Mando Mercs member, so I have a bit of a costuming "issue". :) Thanks to all the answers which I have harvested over the years!

Hi All,
My name is Andrea and I am based in London. Graduated drama school a year ago but never got the chance to really specialise what I wanted to do. Interested in sculpture and currently reading into electronics and want to create some animations. Heard of the RPF though Adam Savage's TESTED.

G'day!!

I'm Ben and i live in Manchester in the UK. I've been a lurker on here for awhile and finally thought i'd start an account. I primarily use foam and 3D printed parts for my costumes and props and hopefully soon i can start casting and moulding props too. My current future builds consist of a Heavy Gunner Mandalorian and Warhammer 40K Space Marine.

Hi All,

Thanks for allowing me to the RPF. I'm Max from SoCal. I'm a novice lightsaber-smith, continually learning the tips and tricks of the art. So far, I've only built 3 Graflex 2.1s and a MHS. I have a MPP 2.0, DV6, and K4 in progress. I have a TGS Graflex replica on the way that I will eventually convert to A New Hope.

I hope to learn quite a bit from everyone's posts.

Hi guys

I'm Ray and I am a concept designer working in the film and television industry..... I love this forum as I have been into making stuff since I was a kid watching Star Trek.

My designs are sometimes mentioned here and I like reading everyones opinions.... So far mostly good but since I endeavour to improve my craft I respect all the critiszms.

Be Swell.

Hi there

I have signed up as this forum was recommended to me for getting some advice as I want to find out details of a replica prop that I own.
It is a sword from the Kill Bill film presented in a box.
If anyone has any information on it, would be greatly appreciated as I would like to sell it eventually. Many thanks

thank youKill Bill.jpg

Hey everyone!

I joined back in 2014, but I was still unsure about making and didn't participate much. I am now going back to school for Digital Modeling and Fabrication (3D Printing and CNC) and I am sure I will be able to share some interesting cosplay projects as I learn more about the tech and making in general.

I'm a pretty big comic fan, so I'll probably be working on cosplay most of the time.

I live in Massachusetts near Boston, and I will be going to school in Rhode Island and also studying welding and other metalworking techniques in my spare time.

Hello everybody, I'm 3BRBS and new to the community. I found awesome stuff online and decided to register. Yijaaaaa! C'ya soon!

Hey All - Was pretty active here from 2002-2006 then Life Happened and I got busy with my pro career, getting married, homeschooling my autistic stepson and having a baby in 2013. My baby girl Inara (yes - from Firefly! - only name we could agree on!) will be four at the end of this month. And with my stepson (11, 6th grade) and Inara in school now I finally have time to get back to my costume passion. I'm still on sabbatical from doing costuming/wardrobe for Film/TV - not sure I will ever be going back in the capacity I once dreamed of b/c in 2008 I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Arthritis. I continued working through my pregnancy in 2013 (I don't recommend that!! LOL) but then decided I needed to be home with my precious treasure who is a little costuming diva herself! There is no cure for my condition and I choose to manage with no meds and good nutrition, but even if I improve my health it's not likely I can handle the physicality of being on set for 15 hour days. So I'm looking at new ways to continue doing what I love. More on that another time. For now, I'm getting ready for Halloween and Conjuration this Fall. We are a costuming family and try to stick to events for now that all of us can attend. I live just north of the Atlanta metro area now. I've been here for 9 years and I can hardly believe it's been that long. My seven year wedding anniversary is coming up this November. Crazy. Glad to be back. Looking forward to reading and learning and sharing, and possibly collaborating!
