Hi.

I'm Rich. I got interested in prop making due to my dad's influences and I found it kinda fun. So, here I am, trying to learn bit by bit.

Hi everyone, I've been casually into cosplay for a few years now but haven't done that many costumes.

I've really only done a journey costume and quina from final fantasy 9.

Just started on a jehuty suit from zone of the enders and have been poring over this site looking for tips.

Greetings :cool

I just escaped the cluster when I came across this site.

I've been into scratch building models and rep's for the last twenty years as I've never been very good at construting models kits (too much constraint). I have done a few scratch builds over the years, anything from Evil dead's Ash to V from V for Vendetta. I hope to upload a few more pictures soon of my collection for your amusement of course, but here is a few pic's of a model of Kai, 790 and a cryochamber I built from the TV series of Lexx :D

Olá! Sou novo Aqui!

Hello! I'm new here! I'm a man ferrro enthusiast, plus big fan! It is the first time I'm building something with armor. I've done some replicas of military helicopters (plastimodelismo). But now I'm on a new challenge: build the iron man mark III. After searching a lot on the net, making the armor and its electronics parts get here. And like a lot of help from my older this new adventure! So, I wonder how do I get the "Iron Man Repulsor Superhero v1.2". I want to build or, if applicable, buy.

Hello Everyone.

I found this forum through an episode of Tested, Adam Savage mentioned it in his Burn Bag replica talk and I decided this was worth checking out.

Speaking of Mr. Savage, he was a large part of my inspiration to become a maker. it is my dream to one day be a prop/model maker of his caliber. This is what I dream of doing for a living and I hope that through my projects I make I can one day gain the skill to make this a career.

Nice to meet you,
Spencer Jackson

Hi, I'm new and starting up, I've been to this site so many times in the last 5 years but never had the guts to take up costume making,

well I finally decided to go forth and do it. I will be attempting to make two costume out of aqua-resin. Iron man and Iron Patriot, Iron man is for my brother.

I lost my job the beginning of the year so this will keep me busy while I search, I have done plenty of research, gone with aqua resin as I have lung problems, cant afford to get fumes.

and that it, I will see how my first attempt goes, I'm pretty handy capable, paint things before, I did a set of costume before for me and three friends. star craft ghost, with LED light and mask, but that is nothing compared to this. going to love it. well thanks again.

Hello everyone
I´m from Spain and i´m new in this. I want to say hi :D.
Few months ago, i started with some friends to build a warhammer 40k space marine with the files of JFcustom. Now we are taking it really slowly but i hope to finish it before the end of the year.
sorry for my poor English and thank you for all the help you bring to me

hello everyone, Just like everyone else i have just been hanging around trying to listen and learn from a very great group of people.i never thought in a million years that i would be able to make or try to make a armor suit of my own.just when i thought all humanity was lost and mankind was at an end i found this site where gifted people model and create files that they give away to complete strangers for free then help them bring their creations to reality.after watching and learning for a little i decided to try this out and my first complete build was a classic iron man helmet modeled by eye of sauron.IMAG0450.jpgIMAG0448.jpg i was reluctant to post these pictures because the last thing i want to do is deface saurons model files.well i hope he likes it and you do to.i have many more that i have been working on and when im done i will post them and give credit to the creator of the model and file that i used.i thank you all for your effort and hard work that you do to make it possible for people like me to create works of imagination that you would only get to see in the movies.

I'm not new. I just never post I always browse :) Anyway I have Batman Original #1-10 comics, I love Batman and LOVE skyrim.

Hi,
I am new to the prop replication hobby but looking forward to developing new skills and interests in the coming years. My first project is to build a lightsaber, and I am already looking for the necessary parts for a screen correct version and I am also considering a kit version of the ANH OB1. I live in Australia but spent many years in Seattle (hence my screen name). Star Trek, Iron Man and Raiders props are on my growing list of projects but I intend to start slow and build only quality pieces as our space is limited in our apartment.

Hi everyone,

Kinda been a lurker for a while now, but decided to bite the bullet now that I'm making something outside the realm of Star Wars. Kind of new to the whole larger costuming since I've been more familiar with soft parts and lots of sewing. After creating a giant hammer for my Harley Quinn I figured I should test my hand at armor and more hard parts. I'm currently starting work on my Night Owl Mandalorian and going full canon with it as Bo Katan. I've also just ordered a giant roll of closed cell foam to start working on Striker Eureka from Pacific Rim and if all goes well on the front, I'll start on a Halo build which has been on my to-make list for the longest time.

Hello all. I've been lurking here awhile and finally had to join since this group is single handedly responsible for my newly acquired obsession with gundam. I stumbled onto Clivelee's amazing tutorial which brought me here and introduced me to gundam. Btw, how great is it for a master builder to share a decade of experience in a well organized tutorial? There are also lots of great gundam builds on here. Anyways, I'm about 1/2 way done with an original victarion greyjoy costume... but it looks very amateurish compared to the amazing builds on here. I'm having troubles getting that perfectly smooth, seamless finish, but that's for another thread.

Hey there,
I'm Maire. I have been really interested in cosplay for a number of years and have done some work for others, but only recently decided to get personally involved. I found this site through suggestion of an awesome cosplayer I met at Pax East.
I have a couple things underway currently - Steel Legion Lux from League of Legends and the mildly less daunting task of Ryuko Matoi.
Looking forward to becoming part of the community and seeing everyone's creations!

Hi all.
I'm Doykim, french, 41, and not very good in inglish (i'm french...yet said, no ??)
I'm "specialized" in model kit, garage kit, and from not so long, in papercraft.
I'm trying to make a cosplay of Duke Fleed for a coworker, and I discovered this forum by a member of a french forum called "Anigetter", following PDO made by JF Custom...
I'm here to learn a lot, I have 2 months to finish this cosplay :wacko
