Hello All. I found this site while searching for some sideart for a Star Wars video game cabinet I am restoring. I live for taking apart and redoing almost anything I get my hands on, ie. video game cabinets, consoles, stereos, pinball machines, bicycles, a food chopping appliance and, just last weekend, an old crock pot that was given to me. I have tons of things that were junk when I received them and they are now coveted items by my friends.

I believe all of this stems from my father and his incessant tinkering with things. We didn't grow up wealthy so we had to fix what we had. Anyway, I also got into plastic car modeling, art, and computers.

I've already made an entry in the 'Maltese Falcon' thread as that is something I would personally like to have on my own mantel. Anyway, thanks for inviting me into your space and I sincerely hope to be able to contribute to this wonderful site.

Hey everybody, glad to be here. My name's Dex, in case you couldn't tell.

Obviously I'm still new to the site, so please go easy on me. I've been ollecting all manner of geekery my entire life. I've recently gotten 'hold of my very own custom Lightsaber, of which I am very proud. Other recent acquisitions include a Power Morpher and metal Green Ranger coin (show-accurate), and a set of Blackest Night Power Rings.

Right now, my current obsession is focusing on the Sonic Screwdriver from Doctor Who. In fact, the reason I registered here was because this site seemed to have the most detailed and accurate information concerning the current incarnation of the prop, as well as news concerning toys and replicas. You guys do some great work here, and I'd love to learn more.

Justin Here. Biggest loves are Babylon 5, Buffy, Star Wars, and various 80's movies (the standard ones here. I started collecting replica weapons, but this forum as gotten me interested in other replicas. I would like to start making some. I am mildly artistic and have some limited experience in casting...so we shall see.

Came back around due to interest in making a Farnsworth for my 13-year old daughter for Dragon*Con. I'm a past member of 501st after putting together my stormtrooper armor. I have a lot more ambition than talent, but I do try.

I have been into costuming for a few years now. I think it stems from my childhood days of thinking, 'Man I wish I had a proton pack'.

I am currently working on an Iron Man suit. Luckily, there is an abundance of resources!

Hello, Matt here. I've lurked long enough, and now I've decided to post from time to time. I collect mostly 1:1 busts and statues, some 1/4 and 1/6 pieces, as well as a few props. Not a prop builder but a collector and huge admirer of the awesome stuff I see in this forum.

Hello to all the new and exsisting members!

My name is Scott Fensterer. I am new to the forum and have been trying to get on for quite some time. Many of my friends are here and I am very much looking forward to getting to know all of you guys.

My main interests are lifesized figures of pretty much any genre. I have yet to sculpt a lifesize human realistic likeness, but I have sculpted 1:4, 1:6, and 1:8 sculpts with a focus on likeness for the toy and hobby idustries. I have also designed and sculpted museum displays and the like and art directed many projects professionally.

Currently, I'm back to freelance after a 5 year stint in private sector work. I enjoy the varied jobs and working from home is a real plus, but I do miss the steady paycheck, too! LOL!

I'm looking forward to growing as a sculptor here and know that as far as the peer feedback, nothing is probably better than this!

Hello everyone my name is Kenny I live just outside of Atlanta Georgia, I am 42 years old .
Although I don't make models I have the utmost respect for those who do. I am really impresses with the talent on this forum. I am most impressed with scratch building and maybe on day might even give it a go. But for now I plan on watching from the sidelines.
