I was told about this website by a member and after the past 24 hours of looking at all the cool stuff on here, all I can say is effin wow. The talent and content here is so impressive. I am huge fan of builds, so I hope to learn a lot from this community. Again, congrats to all you designers, artists and mad scientists...your are truly amazing.

Very happy to be here. I am Teymur from Cologne, Germany a professional photographer and an absolute Prop/Costume n00b. well last time I build something has been ages ago, but my interested got sparked again a few weeks ago and I want to start something small to begin with soon. Found theRPF through a video by Adam Savage and I am very delighted. So many very nice and extremely talented people here.
So I will be lurking a little bit I guess, until I have something to show or to contribute otherwise.

I've been meaning to join your fine ranks for quite some time, but now that time has come: I'm making an effort to put together the best possible ESB Han Solo Gear that I can manage and THIS certainly seems to be the place for me to being just some of the 10 THOUSAND things I need to know in order to get it even HALF right.
Anyway, happy to be here in the midst of so many generous and knowledgable people!

Been lurking around, just like many others, for a while now, and would never have found the propstore had I not come on here. Now I'm a proud owner of a Dredd prototype helmet which I won on the last day of the eBay auction!
Still quite new to collecting props. Mainly, i like collecting small iconic stuff although I have a few replicas including stormtrooper helmet, weta lotr 'the one ring' and other things. The dredd prototype helmet is my first production used prop. Have a prop replica thor hammer from efx on its way!
Would love to own a Joker card from the 'The Dark Knight', specifically the one that was attached to the dead fake batman that was hanged

Just thought i would say hello!
I have always had a cosplay passion, and really got into wanting to learn the techniques to learn how to make replica's and just general cool stuff!
Started on an ironman this weekend. Got the helmet assembled and just tacked together with glue atm to hold the sections in place (is this how most people do it before applying resin?)

I have made a few costumes but not photographed many.
I'm from Australia. I am going to Dragoncon this year so trying to get a few good things together for that.
I'm in a wheelchair but do not let it limit me in anyway including what costumes I wear. So obviously I am a big believer that physicality should not restrict what you do in your life.

My names josh aka ace, I just starting prop making as a hobby would love to see it turn in to a career for my self but that will be in the distant future as I am still a newbie. I have always had a love for art (drawing, designing, etc..) Ive made a few props before, a spike Grenade from the halo series... I also tried but failed at making a halo 3 style master chief helmet, and that's about the time I stopped for a little while but now I'm back at it.

I have been hiding in the alleys of the RPF for years and using it for useful info when I hit walls, but never really posted due to a little lack if costuming confidence, but f-it, figure I should start posting.
I have made several costumes, i'll start getting some pics up soon, but am currently getting overloaded with projects. Let's see, I'm on Captain America personal version 2.5, kind of my own version, which happens to be most of my costumes. I pride myself on making costumes and constantly seeking improvement.
To all that I have turned to for help, whether by referring to your threads or asking you directly, thank you so much. To all that have burned me when I needed help, well you can assemble any combination of nasty words and attach them to yourself. Most of all, everyone that I have met and through your amazing costumes, mentoring words, and encouragement, I appreciate it.
