Hello I am Hermes Imperator and I am a beginner in the art of making replicas and sculptures. I live in the capital of Brazil and I have 20 years. I've done many parts, but unfortunately I never was happy because I never reached perfection. For materials I use are lower. My goal for this year is to create a company especialisada in making replicas of famous and Stormtrooper helmets, Magneto, Darth Vader ... etc. For me it's an honor to be here and able to learn new techniques and familiarize myself with professionals who are on this forum! Thank you, hope I can do things really fantastic as well as all of you! Thank you!

I'm modeler, illustrator and graphic designer.
i'm making sci fi models for many years now, and i try to make my own spaceships and replicas by myself. It's hard, because i don't have all the knowing to work efficiently. but practice makes perfect !

Hello my name is Kevin. My first love is Star Wars and I am currently waiting on a set of TK armor from AP and a DS Vader helmet and armor. I have put in an order for the rest of vader from VaderDave. I chose not to build my own armor due to lack of time and fledgling skills but started small by doing a Hasbro E11 conversion. I enjoy reading the forum and look forward to participating.

Hi everyone, im 31 and live in the UK. I have made many props in the past such as batman armour, cowl and batarangs. Also made a metal stormtrooper blaster and ghostbuster props. I do make replicas of muppets puppets and im expanding this to try make a functional ninja turtle head with moving eyes, eye lids and mouth.

I am a student in Albania studing in Harry Fultz college, I'm 15.5 years old, and I am studying electronic( FOR computers and cellphones).
I am the best student there with all 10 but not in literature.

Greetings all! Tempus told me about this site after I told him that I was making a costume of Ganondorf from Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess from scratch. I'm quite interested in prop and costume making. Uncertain where to start but Tempus suggested this was a great place to start.

Hallu, I am into costuming and I get the feeling my son will be into modeling if his lego building is a sign.
I came to this site because I was investigating making full scale armors for costumes. The pepakura tutorials and files look like something interesting to try out.

Hey folks, been lurking around here for a little while. Both impressed and a bit intimidated by the talent on display in pretty much every thread. I'm a writer/filmmaker living in the Los Angeles area. As a film nut, props, costumes, scale models, and miniatures have always held a place very near to my heart (or failing that, at least two vital organs).
I'm in the admittedly small camp that believes practical effects should not be thrown out with the bathwater, but rather take the forefront where possible, using CGI to smooth the creases and generally integrate the desired effect into a digital post medium. In other words, we're using too much CGI, and I hope that we're about to experience a renaissance in the industry where old-school techniques make a triumphant return.
I'm looking forward to trying my hand at a bit of prop-making and perhaps some costume work. We shall see.

Hey Guys
I've have always been interested in the Replica Prop Forum but have never gotten round to signing up but now I have.
Over the years I have made various props and custom builds based on my interests and have quite an unseen portfolio going on at home but have yet to take decent photographs to post on here but keep your eyes open
Some significant things I have built so far include a Pepakura Halo Helmet, A life size custom Thor Mjolnir hammer, a lifesize Hofner Violin Bass guitar and a random Zombie Dog I had to make for college haha.
Overall I'm glad to be part of this sight and hope to enjoy my time on here
