Good Evening all...Jeff here. It wasn't till recently I discovered this forum and boy, oh boy. I hadn't realized a whole community existed about one of my hibernating interests. It's been a few years since I was into props, replica's and such. I've never made anything, but I finally picked up a Farscape Peacekeeper Pistol kit, 3 in Moya (wondering how the hell I'm going to paint that accurately), and reclaimed a once (and regrettably sold) The Shadow Phurba Dagger replica.... I also have a couple tv show actual props from First Wave to Special Unit 2. It's nice to get the itch back!

I never introduced myself, so here we go!
Hi! I've been cosplaying for almost a decade now, but I have only made sewn costumes and made a few props. I'm currently working on my first armor costume, which is Barnaby Brooks Jr. from Tiger & Bunny. It's a slow process since almost everything is new, but it's been a fun challenge! This site has been very helpful, and I'm happy to have a prop/armor-focused community to learn from.

Hi im Rob i really grazy about movie things.
I rent a few cars for used in movies.and i have by my self three movie cars.
For the rest i come frequently repair cars on movie sets and also to deliver them.
Also i have a few movie uniforms.like from black book.and a lot more.

I'm not new to the site, but I haven't posted often in the past. I have tons of unfinished projects lying around; many of them started as a Pep file. Recently I've started making Zelda-related items...I just finished up a Majora's Mask made from scratch. I look forward to learning useful tricks for the woodshop and bouncing around some ideas!

I'm mostly movie/video game collector but replica/prop items have also place in my heart. Only lack of money and lack of proper storage/display area is slowing me down :unsure
My favorite genres are fantasy (LOTR,Game of Thrones...) and sci-fi (Aliens, Terminator...)

My name is Jim and I’m from South Carolina. I found this forum after Adam Savage talked about it in a video. I loved Kommissar’s Veteran Ranger build and I thought I’d give making the mask a shot. Hello, I joined a while back but haven't been all that active and I realized I'd never posted here. I'm EHyde but you can call me Ellen if you'd rather. As far as costuming goes I'm pretty good at sewing and have done a bit of makeup, but have pretty much no experience with sculpting and armor-making, which are two things I'm interested in learning more about. I am just starting my first pep build and we'll see how that goes.

Hi there to the Community!
Im from Cleveland Ohio, and recently got into the prop world a couple of years ago through GBfans and creating my first full fledged Proton Pack. It too k a better part of a year but now its complete, minus a few upgrades that I want to do to make a true GB1 Pack:
I have my materials to start a second fiberglass build, but this time around instead of resin pieces im going all aluminum.
In waiting for my aluminum parts, I started making a "bugdet proton pack" out of cardboard then covered in resin and filled with foam. Here it is next to my first fiberglass build: Left (Budget) Right (Fiberglass/Resin)
