Hello everyone!!!
I found this site while looking for tutorials on how to make an Iron Man costume (which im currently working on). After looking around a bit I fell in love with this website! I'm a faithful San Diego Comic Con attendee and the replicapropforum is a place where I can let my inner geek out. As far as future projects go, I plan on making a Kat costume or maybe Cortana. I hope I get a chance to meet some of you sometime in the near future to share some ideas :behave

Hi All, just signed up, and thought I should introduce myself. My names Dan, and I hail from the sunny south of the Uk, well, Portsmouth to be exact.

I used to make latex based masks and small props using card and such like, but finally am venturing at long last into resin and filler.

I am currently working on three projects, Iron Man, Sam Flynn and a new Batsuit. Keeping myself busy.

My day job, well, not far from entertainment really, I run my own little digital arts/ indie film company. Most of which works with corporate film and VHS transfers, but you need to start somewhere

Anywho, Hi all, and I look forward to have some good chats and seeing how all the wonders that people create.

Hi all,

My handle is Hoot35; Matt (or Matthew) to my friends. I have been a member of the 501st Legion's Cloud City Garrison for almost two (2) years; this March. One of my Garrison mates suggested coming here to find a good place to buy a Pilots uniform; they forgot to tell me that there were restricitons.:angry:angry

Due to life this is the first chance I had to post anything here.:facepalm It has been only recently that I decided to see if this forum can help me with a prop that I want to work on, but that is for another topic.

I am completely new here and new to the prop world. I've always wanted to own props and costumes and have all those cool things i have seen (and read about) in star wars, plus a few other things i think would be cool to have. So i guess i am here to learn how to make props as well as help people in the future make theirs.

Hi everybody,
very often i thought about registering to this forum, but i never found the time.

May be, some of you know me from the 501st as TK1511 or from the forum at superherohype as GermanSpider.

Some facts about me:
- 41 years young
- Country: Germany near Stuttgart
- Hobbys: Star Wars, Spider-Man, costumes (new Cosplay *g*)
- Costumes i own at the moment: Stormtrooper, Spider- Man in different styles

Right now i began with the cpt America suit from the coming avengers movie.
And that's the point, why i've decided to make an accout here, because i found some very good hints here.

Hello there, everyone.

I've been an admirer of this site for a few years now (thanks to my fiancee introducing me to your helpful threads). I've been to shy to join. I felt like my skills weren't quite up to scale with everyone else on this site. That probably sounds silly. I'm a bit of an over-thinker. Anyway, my fiancee assured me that everyone here is welcoming and open minded and, so far, I've seen that. So I made an account.

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to prop making, but I've been costuming since 2006. Around 2009 I started making costumes all on my own and I'm quite proud of how far I've come in three years. I hope to learn more through this site and continue improving my skills.

I do have one album on my profile showing my Rinzler costume. It's currently a work in progress, but it's about 65% done if anyone would like to look. Feel free to give feedback.

I can't wait to make some friends and get involved!

Hi to all - new member as of today, James from the UK. 36 and a huge fan of sci-fi and horror, 50's and 60's pulp in particular. Favourite movies are Raiders of the Lost Ark, Aliens and Forbidden Planet.

Looking to expand my knowledge of modelling and prop making, and found the forum when searching for info on a raygun project I've begun - some great stuff on here that has already been tremendously helpful.

Hi. I'm been a member for a little while but have mostly been lurking around. I found the site while researching Firefly costume ideas and trying to locate supplies. This forum has been very helpful with that and I've enjoyed seeing the many things that the members have been building.
