New 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote

After seeing your video, I can say mine slides back down about twice as much as yours, a bit further. I'm gonna try thickening up that nub so it cant slide down partially past it.

I was trying to think of a way to do something like that , how where you planning to do it on yours ?

Using either future floor wax, Tamiya clear coat brush paint, or super glue. Its a hard area to get into without it dripping down onto the clear tube, so I'm not sure yet. Its just really odd that this is even an issue, my first copy of this didn't have anything close to this looseness, actually it was a little too tight.

Have you got a photo of this ?
sure do

How do you guys darken your sonics. I kind of want mine darker or just the cracks to be more prominent. Can anybody tell me how?

All I needed to do to darken my sonic was apply some shoe polish and wipe off the excess, took about 2 minutes and I was able to darken the end cap while I was at it.

Updated pics:

Mine does the same thing, doesnt stay fully extended, it slides down a bit before hitting the nub and stopping. In the first photo below you can see it doesnt stay extended fully, the button slides down a bit and you can see the metal space in the gap, which is usually covered by the button when extended. Its worth noting that I had another one of these that did not have this issue, this is an exchange. Compared to my first one, the slider near the bottom is very tight and as it gets closer and past the nub is is much loser. My other one was the opposite.

Also is anyone's inner tube this uneven?

Also I had a glass dome base laser engraved for display :)

Got mine today, I couldn't be happier. It has no flaws (except the mentioned above sliding thing, but I don't consider that a flaw), works great and is absolutely gorgeous ! Can't wait to mess around with a few TVs other than my own :D
I didn't know the Wand Company until I found this thread, but given the awesome job they did, I'll surely keep an eye on what they might produce next !
