After I get my PR in hand again it looks like a visit to Walmart is in order so I can do a retro-fit. :thumbsup
This is rad! Now have to build one. The addition of the SPAS from walmart is nice. I really like the idea of scavenging toys for parts. Going to do this!
:facepalm Oops! My bad everyone, being uk based I get your shop names mixed up sometimes, sorry. Thanks for setting me straight CB :thumbsup
Actually, it's not Wal-Mart that has them. It's the Dollar General stores that carry them. I found quite a lot of stuff at the Dollar General that could be used as potential firearm replicas over the while and have a post dedicated to the toy weapons found there.
Just keep in mind, supplies tend to vary depending on the stores, so you may have to check multiple ones to find one or two of them.
I wonder how much it cost in styrene... locally that's like $150 of styrene if not more.
Dude! Is that QC pricing?
Amazon.com has two sheets of styrene for 11.17 plus 4.50 shipping. If you can get it shipped to NY.
Amazon.com: Black Styrene Sheets, .08"x8x21 (2): Toys & Games
Wish I had used black as opposed to white for making the shrouds and magazine base.

Gotcha. Thanks for for the tip! This is going to be fun. If I come up with something interesting I'll post it up.
I just looked this amp up online. How do you have it wired up? I'm a bit confused by the trash can, two lines to "In" and the speaker hook up. Oh, and do you have a link or other info on that speaker? Thanks!
Thanks Canobi, but I already figured out a solution, finished the gun and sold it. I used a powered speaker for an iPhone. It worked great and was very loud. But, thanks for the reply, it will help others I'm sure.
