Nerf Alien Pulse Rifle M-41A Mod

This time we started a new project in Alien Universe…

After we found a Nerf Pulse Rifle, we started modding. First step we dissembled the blaster…

Next we closed some injection holes and sanded down the Nerf logos. Also we all over sanded the blaster with different grits from rough to fine.

In next step we did the paintjob and reassembled the blaster.Also wedesigned and printed a new and more accurate shoulder stock. Also we installed authentic jooks for shoulder strap. Tomorrow we‘ll finalize the paintjob with weathering. Also more accurate ammo mags running actually in one of our 3D printers…

In final stage we‘ll create a display with a life size Facehugger and gun case…

Will do in later step… will do further modifications. After closing them, it‘s a one way trip. Will do in last steps…

Wear & tear looks good...I would, still, make the shotgun ejector part silver (as you did for the slide of the tommy gun)

I‘ll check but was silver. It was getting darker caused by weathering. But also still thinking about real metal plate…

Project is going ahead…

Last two weeks I didn‘t had so much time. In the meantime the guncase and belt sling arrived. All magazine mods are printed. Also I‘ve printed munition. Which will be added in the guncase as well. Guncase will receive same grouncolor line the puls rifle and I‘ll add some used colonial marines stickers to achieve more authentic look. On top of the case I‘ve also prepared an identification plate.

Looks good. You should think on weathering that foam and case a bit too. Needs a few years on it.

Today I found some time to go ahead.

First we milled an embossing into the guncase in order to embed the identification plate into the guncase.

In last step we installed and glued the identification plate which fits quite snug…

Next we dissambled the whole case to get it ready for varnishing.

After priming we added the varnish on the outside…

Still not sure if we‘ll varnish inside as well…

And we go on with modding…
Today the colonial marines stickers arrived. In next step we‘ll add the weathering on the outside to achieve a really used look. So the case will habe survived a lot of bugs

In next step we‘ll go for further details on the inside and will print mounts for the ammo etc.
The life size facehugger also already arrived and is ready for the display. The display base will also have the typical floor tiles from Alien…

Today we finished the paintjob of the ammo magazines…
In next shop we‘ll add weathering on the mags. Now we have to design small ammo boxes for the box….
