Need help with Sterling/E11 stock

I've just got another Sterling SMG but this one has a little problem in that the stock doesn't fold out. I think the problem lies in the fact that I can't start the sequence to release the catch to get it to swing around. Also I can't get the barrel out to work on the inside, because it's welded in by law.

Any ideas on how to get this moving?

Why would you want to use the folding stock anyway?

In the prop sense I don't. In the fun-sense I do, because it's metal it's one of those things that despite it's high value can be handled by people who come round without me freaking out.

Actually I've just realised I can remove the stock from the body from the pivot behind the grip and then attack it. I don't know why I didn't think of that half an hour ago. :$

Still I'd be grateful for any ideas to avoid me doing that.

Sorted it and no need for dynamite unfortunately. There was some stuff blocking the latch. Whilst I was there I stopped it from double clicking when it was ****** too by putting the charging handle back through the spring.
