STAR WARS - The Acolyte props & costume

3d modelled, some found objects, 3d printed and cast. Already contacted a prop crew member. This device was driving me crazy. Let's hope they share a better reference on social media.

PS: Why are they streaming the show in such a poor quality?
I've noticed that this show has a lot of film grain added - I think its an aesthetic choice. I don't dislike it, but it's frustrating for screenshots for this sort of thing.

I think it's just the browser player that is bad quality. Apparently the smart device streaming is higher quality.

Probably not that helpful - being just a piece of set dressing but I laughed out loud when I saw this.

Acolyte Mortar.JPG

It's a British Army twin-ordinance carrier for an 81mm mortar. I had one when I was at art college in the eighties - one tube for rolled up artwork and the other for equipment. Mine still had the high explosive warning labels on it too. Got some funny looks on public transport. :)

The new Star Wars series, The Acolyte, will introduce Pip: a chipper, handheld repair droid.

The production designer put Pip into a
US M-1956 M16A1 Ammunition pouch designed for the M16 20 round magazines. This magazine pouch was designed especially for the short 20 round M16A1 magazines.

The M-1956 Load-Carrying Equipment (LCE), also known as the Individual Load-Carrying Equipment (ILCE), was developed by the U.S. Army and first issued in the early 1960s.
Does anyone have a M16A1 pouch? I was able to score a M1956 and I would love to compare measurements.
