Necronomicon (Evil Dead II) What's out there?

The actual book prop, illustrated just like what we saw in the film.

Curious if the whole enchilada has been done, I found a few pics of something here..

That be mine! ;)

That one has approximately 25 pages of original artwork inspired from the film. All pages were weathered and coated in laytex to give it a skin-like feel.

The person who made it used to be a member here and this was his own personal copy. Threats of legal action shut him down and actually turned him off of movie props. :(

Thanks for all the info.

Sounds like I may never possess the Necronomicon and they will feast on my soul. :(

The books that come wiht hthe DVD's are woefully inaccurate both in size and in page artwork.

Other than Tim Sullivan, there's no real source for these.

I have a cover that I bought from here (Army of Darkness version) and then attached it to a journal I bought at Hobby Lobby. I have maybe 6 or 7 pages of artwork done, but man is it tedious. I gave up on trying to complete it.

I got an idea. Let's make our own and do a cheap run of just covers. Then everyone can just do their own artwork:)

very cool book for sure....this and some other books would be cool to own...

I'd like this one and the one from " 13 ghosts"

Well....that would be very naughty to sell the page images here wouldn't it lol

But i don't see why we can't have a crack at making a nice cover for everyone. I think we need some nice screencaps of the different books.

I do have a nice sculpt done already but it's not mine to give away....

Would be nice to make a RPF Necronomicon. I would have asked Ramiel if he could draw the pages for the book.

This is the necromonicon I made for "Evil Dead: The Musical" this October. I started with a clay relief and made a plaster mold. Then I applied a liquid latex rubber to create the skin.
