Necronomicon (Evil Dead II) What's out there?

If someone was able to have this video downloaded maybe they could send it to me :) Can't seem to find it on youtube anymore.
I remember it having really good pictures of the book in it.

this

YouTube - THE EVIL DEAD - NECRONOMICON EX-MORTIS BOOK OF THE DEAD

plus this

YouTube Downloader - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

plus your nifty windows movie maker that comes with windows

all multiplied by some hardcore hand drawing with a fountain pen (optional) should yield you a nifty necronomicon. It's how i'm doing mine anyway, for my personal, use. for my personal "don't sue me cuz that would be silly i'd really like to eat and just looking at my credit score is a very bad idea i wish someone would steal my identity" use. If that were me. lol

Ugh, will somebody please put this thread to sleep?

Reading over my own comments I too need to clarify, Tom owning the rights to his work is fine, it's how he treated several people who are/were on this board and how it violated the CoC of this board that I have a problem with.

So can I buy your necronomicon but you can keep your DVDs

Just to clarify for you.
Someone selling you one here would be taking risk of breaking copyright laws and bring a hellstorm of fury down upon themselves by a protective copyright owner. So you can make your own based on film references, buy a licensed product or go to the copyright owner.

No, I just wish this thread would be gone because of the bad ju-ju it brings up.

lol so you post 2 days after the last person bringing it to the top again, can't we just get back on topic, for those of us wanting to replicate the book for our own use/collection as Tom does'nt have an issue with that at all, i intend to make myself a copy and Tom knows about it as he does many others, people just need to stop asking to buy illegitimate copies and people need to stop selling them end of.

so in that vein does anyone else have any reference material ??

Cool! The cursed thread rises from its mouldering grave and shambles forth arms grasping for the throat of the old veteran, haunted by memories of past horrors. Grasping, grasping.

Here's what it is, FaceBook: We usually wait until we've been on the RPF six months or so :lol before we start critcizing long standing members or questioning the communities semi-unaminous -as much as anything gets around here- philosophy on a topic. :darnkids

While I admire your aggressiveness in the pursuit of a good copy of a fake mythical object; I will tell you confrontational attitude will probably discourage some people from assisting you. But you'll fit right in.... :behave

I have one of Tom Sullivan's Necronomicon's. Since he came to one of the Michigan Prop parties that we threw about five tears ago and I spoke to he and his brother on and off all night; I'm not really tempted to provide reference material from it to you because your paper route does not provide you the discretionary income to buy the real thing from the man who created it and will sell you a copy.

We're all movie lovers here. Most of us cannot afford actual screen-used props. If we want to decorate with excellent replicas it takes a community effort. Research, connections, materials, photos, techniques. It's all shared voluntarily here.

People have to WANT to do something for you. We owe you nothing. Never any harm in asking but you know you'll catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar, right?

i think you've taken my comments the wrong way, this thread serves as a good warning to the community on what is and isn't acceptable with this prop, i wouldn't dream of criticizing anyone here or anywhere else i was purely questioning his logic in posting a comment about bringing the post back it was not intended in a confrontational way if that's how it came across I'm very sorry.
I've not been a paper boy since i was 15 some 18 years ago and the reason i cannot afford to buy the original prop is that i'm unable to work due to disability so any props i want to own have to be acquired on a budget or scratch made which after all is half the fun.

Again it wasn't my intention to seem confrontational or ignorant in any way, i read through the entire thread which i came to looking for more information on the subject and found it sad that it was still being dragged out rather than being pulled back on topic, i have no feelings of entitlement and never said or thought anyone owed me anything my post was simply the result of a thirst for more knowledge.

Hey everybody! First I just want to be clear that I've made this replica for myself and is not intended for selling...so what do you think?
