Yeah, truck took out the lines that cross the street. Mine doesn't, but the power pole was badly shaken (I was home the last time this happened and the whole front of the house was nearly torn off while the pole twanged like a twig). The power company deems everything between the pole and the house to be something I own and have to take care of myself, and since the house is old and so's the gooseneck and the meter box, they refuse to reconnect unless I install the modern types. Which also requires install of a new earth even though there's already a perfectly good one because that code has changed too. And it just goes on and on. Suffice to say I am right now researching off-grid solar/storage solutions. :lol
Straight styrene all the way for me. Mulford Plastics should have it in that size? Anyway, if it's already in my stash I might as well use it.
