Hey guys,

So I'm attending MegaCon again this year, going all 3 days.

Day 1 will be Obi Wan
Day 2 will be Obi Wan / Batman Variant
Day 3 will be Captain America TFA

The materials aren't canon on the soft parts... but the quality is amazing. :)

The belt, which still needs 2 parts that are on back order is from Museum Replicas.

The lightsaber is a Force FX Hasbro Obi Wan ROTS Saber.

Pants are flat front khakis from Target.

The boots, which I'm ordering soon, will be from Museum Replicas as well.

Not going to have a cloak for this appearance for heat reasons, lol, it's already toasty in this thing.

I also plan on dying my hair lighter and adding gray to my temples. :)

Here are some pics thus far...

Ended up getting a completely new, super accurate cloth costume part from great people from the Rebel Legion...

The look is damn near perfect, J.

If I'm allowed to be uber-picky, I'd point at just two things. The on-screen obi is a bit looser and wrinklier, and lose the earring(s). :p

But for the most part I'm likin' it. :thumbsup

Trust me. The fabric is plenty wrinkly... I just took these photos with my phone, ha! It's pretty damn close in person, I'll try and get a pic of the texture. :)

Thanks! And yeah, earrings stay in, I'm not that obsessed, lol, this is just for fun after all!

What he meant is the OBI is not sitting flat under the belt, its like mashed up and crinkled underneath the actual belt...not the fabric persay or texture.

What Ryan said.

The tailor cut the obi along the grain instead of on the bias (diagonal) as in the original costume. As it's all for fun, it's all good though.

The edges of the tabards and the invisible sleeve hems are superb.

Nobody will fail to recognize you as Obi-Wan, I can guarantee that. :D

Thanks! I had it done by AlienArmsDealer on the Rebel Legion. They do amazing work. If the Obi does pose any problems going forward, I'll probably have it remade. Thanks for the input. I strive for accuracy. :)

Thanks! I actually trimmed it super short on the sides like he has in the movies. Ill be getting my hair and beard professionally lightened before MegaCon. :)
