My Eleventh Doctor costume Series 5 and 6

Finally received my AbbyShot bow tie today.
I am happy that it is not as "red" as what we see in the product photos, but like others have stated it is still not a dark enough wine color.
Another point which we all know about is the incorrect weave that was given to this "replica". It is shameful of AbbyShot to not give a damn enough about this licensed product to even attempt to make it accurate.
It is VERY small, almost child-size - but it is nearly the same size of the bow tie I currently wear with my 11th cosplay and I'd say that one is spot-on for size.

I also got my G-Star Bronson Chinos today (worn in several S6 episodes) - thanks to an ebay find I got these for a complete steal.

I got the clappers bowtie which is a good alternative for the burgundy tie.

Any chance of posting pictures of the Abbyshot tie?

I untied the Abbyshot tie and can't seem to get it tied again. I suck at tying bow ties and will have to find someone to teach me in person since watching videos online have proven to be useless with me.

On another note, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my pair of accurate S6 boots.

Ordered a white "marcella" bow tie from ebay in hopes that dying it the right color will give me a very close S6 tie look.
Until someone can track down the right weave fabric used, this will have to do. I will get some pics when it arrives...

Can't wait to see the results! By the way, did you manage to learn tying a bow-tie?

I've been trying to no success. I will have to have one of my actor buddies show me in person since watching instructional videos have proven useless.

As for the new tie I ordered, it's a pre-tied and coming from the UK so it will be a few weeks.
Texture looks good and the size/shape of the tie overall is a great match for the Smith tie.

If they can't help, you're welcome to add me on skype, i could try showing it over video-chat, my skype name is "gussgriswold".

I think the boots are absolutely phenomenal. I'm really impressed with what you were able to get done on them for not being All Saints. The whole outfit is super good, with the exception of the shirt. I would recommend Steve Ricks if you have quite a few dollars to drop. I believe his Smith Shirt goes for $300, but it's dead on accurate and I adore mine.

If you don't have 300 dollars lying around, you could also buy a pretty accurate shirt from iTailor.com

for about 30€ as far as i can remember.

I have a "Utah" shirt on order with Steve Ricks so I should have that soon enough.

Please, do share some pictures when you recieve it :) And perhaps review some aspects like the fit, cut, worksmanship and minor details.

follow this instructions easy as pie

Go to www.iTailor.com, select patterned fabric for the shirt and go to page 17, select the 6th fabric on the page, select long sleeve, box placket, box pleat, tab collar, no pocket, 1 button angle cuff, no contrast fabrics, white buttons and buttonholes, no monogram, then fill in your sizes. All in, it's about $50. (credit to ninja_risu for finding this option)

So I've got a Utah shirt on order with Steve Ricks, Magnoli will be sending my adjusted tweed back...and I just put a deposit down on another Steve Ricks made item.
