My Eleventh Doctor costume Series 5 and 6

I doubt it, but if you can I have a feeling Magnoli would be competitive in price, and I'd much rather give him my shirt business.

Oh, certainly agreed here. One of the great things about dealing with Magnoli is that he's a fan himself so he understands the source material and will have a more invested interest in replica commissions.

I'm going to try an experiment with the dark blue denim I have...
I still have that bar of fabric wax I bought, which I tried using on my G-Star jeans but did not like the finish.
I tried some of it on the blue denim and it did give it a nice sheen - so I will have two prototypes of the bowtie made - one waxed, one plain and see which one gives the best overall match to the show.

I'm trying to track down the exact check fabric used for Smith's shirt. The fabric did not just fall out of the sky nor do I beleive it was custom made fabric for the show, so it has to exist somewhere!
Any leads would be appreciated.

Here are some pics of me sporting my new S5 style blue bowtie (made of denim) with my Cosplay group and another Who Cosplay group - we went to the Philadelphia Museum Of Art for the Van Gough exhibit:

Awesome pictures! My only recommendation would be to scale the bow tie down a bit, his blue S5 tie was tiny, almost comical.

Yeah, I know it should have been smaller - but it still looks great overall, great color and texture. Maybe for my next one I have made...

Ha ! Very nice ... I live in South Jersey . You guys get together often ? Looks like fun . Philadelphians get wayyyyy more dressed up for Mummers day so this probably wouldn`t make them look twice , lol !

I was happy that we got a lot of "looks" and compliments - had many people ask for photos so that's always a fun thing when it happens. We were blessed with truly gorgeous weather and were happy to enjoy a safe, fun and successful trip!
