My Eleventh Doctor costume Series 5 and 6

No one has positively identified the S5 Navy tie - there is still some debate on what it is made of, sadly.

I use a tie made of Navy denim that looks pretty good.
Another member suggested wool.

On another note, Hot Topic is now selling black waxed skinny Jeans that are dead ringers for Smith's S6 G-Stars.
I could not resist picking up a pair, and since not a soul at cons ever noticed my screen-accurate non-waxed G-Star Jeans, these will be just perfect!

Wait, they have G-Star knockoffs with accurate pockets at Hot Topic, or just waxed jeans?

@ Risu,
No, not accurate pockets. Im sure this is something that can be modified.
If it's something you're down to try, I'd be willing to send you my pair. Contact me if you're intetested..

I'll actually be borrowing Ewan's in the near future. I've tracked down accurate hardware, but I can't wrap my head around the pockets. I understand the front pockets, but it would definitely help to see exactly how they did them. The back pockets are really confusing though. From pictures it looks like they're hand stitched on, which would be ridiculous and actually justify the price. (justify it from a man-hours perspective, but not explain why the heck you would want hand stitched pockets on a pair of jeans.)

For lack of a better place to post this, I've once again (and hopefully for the last time) revamped all of my Smith prints. (except the check shirt, which seems to be pretty set in stone.)

The biggest change is that I finally made my PS cuff designs accurate, and much more repeatable for anybody wanting to use them for something besides just cuffs. (Ladies...) I also made the waves on the main body prints a little more jagged to match the originals and I matched the colors of the blue as closely as possible to my original blue shirt and the colors of the red using a side by side comparison of my latest swatch with an original red. Lastly, the S6 striped shirt has been given lighter purple stripes and I've replaced the faded diamond with a real fleur de lis.

A link to the red cuffs, and you can find the others from there:

In related news, I found my fabric pens I had used to hand draw my first PS shirt and drew over the stripes on my last cuff swatch and it had some pretty darn good results. In person they look like an exact match, in photos it's a huge improvement.

G-star Jeans Blade Slim Spark Denim

Just in case you didn't know, they can still be bought in Denmark. I just ordered my own pair, and they seem to be the real deal. Although you'd have to find some middle man to ship them to youfrom Denmark, as the shop only ships to Denmark and Sweden.

On the other hand, if you need any pictures Risu, i could happily snap spme photos of the back pocket.

I'm hopefully going to be making my own in the next few weeks. I'm currently sewing together a pair of jeans though and my machine doesn't agree with the heavy topstitching thread. Might have to compromise with a thinner, less accurate thread.

Payment sent to HaroldVonBraun for the Jeans.
Thank you for being my middle man and I hope things go smoothly.

Well I have to go with the largest size they offer, and those will still inevitably be too tight on my legs.

My G-Star RAW Jeans are a 32 and they fit just right.
Really pumped to finally be getting the Spark denim!

Wanted to say the Jeans I had HaroldVonBraun middle-man ship my way arrived safely today and are perfect!
It's really great to have a member like him that you can trust and I cannot thank him enough for helping make this happen! Pics will come soon.

Awesome! It'll still be a little while before mine show up, but now I'm really excited to get them.
