yeah... thats why I took so many pics - this may be the last we see of it... I've never molded anything like this before... :eek

Well, got him cast and painted - this was also my first time using an airbrush. So far I am pretty happy with it - ESPECIALLY considering this is my first sculpt of... well, anything really. I'm still working on his cloth cape and chain - and I have some nice brooches I sculpted and cast myself. Sorry for the so so pics (they're in the bathroom - best lighting in the house). The light kind of washes out the details I did with the airbrush (many many layers of liver spots, LOL) - and the color shows up all wrong. But you get the idea. The sculpt is a little rough in areas, but I was just glad he didnt get destroyed in the molding process. Keep an eye out for final pics with cape, base, and lightsaber!

Thanks guys for the kind words - as someone who has stared at this for two years, I really cant even gauge how good/bad it turned out. If anyone has any interest (which there may be none), I think the mold would be good for one or two more...

This cape is a b*tch! But it MUST be done!
