My Celtic Predator Wip: Pic Heavy (Updated Post #100)

Well here is an update on how the feet and hands turned out so far, I still need to seal them. The overall effect came out nicely I think and was what I was looking for. After adding textures to the feet, they actually turned out really good and gave a very bumpy effect.

So I just want to let everyone know that these pictures do not do his suit justice. I saw all of the armor and his hard work in person last night at the party....Let me just say that I have already thrown away all mine and I am restarting the entire armor set...

HIS SUIT IS AWESOME!!!!!! I was super impressed!

how did you make the killer gauntlets using only foamies?
and how did you attach your blades to the foamies?

now that my friend is just amazing,I only hope mine turns out half as good as yours.The photos have given me some encouragement as to what can actually be achieved with using foamies and the such like.It is simply awesome and really looks like real armour,well done to you !!

Hey Matt,

Thanks a million!

With the foamies I used a lot of reference pics I found on the lair. For the blades and such look on the 3rd page you will see the blades are actually attached to a wooden platform I made that will fit inside the foamies themselves which gave it even more strength and it was light weight as well. Hope that helps.

so what do you do after you get the foamies glued together and in place.
i know you put some Plasti-Dip on them, but did you put Plasti-Dip on all the armour
and if so, just 3 coats?
