Those are nice looking castings.
Always nice to see someone actually making something here!

#1 is Hornet or Enterprise, cant remember which one, it's been a long time but I think part #3 is from the Revell Massachussets.

Part #3 is also used in the hull trench (rear)
Is this the 1/720 scale Massachusetts ?
Thanks Man, looking good there. Can't wait to see the big beasty in all its glory, Cheers,
Joe
You're doing great man! Yeah, that neck is a pain in terms of measurements, but it seems fine to me. I'm sure the specialists on the board will chime in it needs some tweaking.
The bridge looks good so far, however the only way to know if it's right is putting all the parts on It (maybe blue tak to check if everything fits).
Man oh man do I want a "kit" of this! I would pay a few thousand dollars if it was complete... just a suggestion... set aside a copy of each part you use... and partner with a garage kit caster and offer pre-sales! I will NEVER find the time to do the research you are doing... but doing a build up would be a dream come true! I have a laser cutter, and would be willing to do some cuts for you if you do the Corel artwork for them... I have 18" x 24" inch cutting area... PM sent
Came in to find this today. I guess it fell off the bench and ended up here.
I hope it is not a bad omen....:confused
