Glad you like it.

Here's another one, this time I added the lights.
Couldn't find something appropriate that could be casting the shadow so we'll say that it's from an unseen space station.;)
Image of what Mars would look like if terraformed.

OK. If I understand the process you would prefer them as attachments at highest resolution? Would it be easier to email them to you? Just let me know what works best for you. I was thinking of taking 4 or 5 pics and you can play around with them.

OK, now it has to be said; there are model makers and there are model makers. Most of us do this for the fun and we do as good a job as we can to please our own tastes and visions of what we want to achieve. People like you are so beyond that, this is just amazing, an outstanding example of what can be achieved with dedication and patience. A truly remarkable build and i salute you sir.

Thanks Jim! Guess I've learned a thing or two about modelling over the past 35 years or so. It's funny though, I still see things
other modellers have done and wonder how the heck they did that!

Well i just posted some pics of my finished D7, its straight out of the box with no modifications but no where near in this league - Doesn't mean that i enjoy it or enjoy the end result any less but i would love to have skills like this, i'm just too damned impatient!

Most excellent!

Thanks a lot! :)

Here are a few low light pics I took yesterday...

The neighbor girl next door has a boyfriend who is apparently a big Star Trek fan. He's a photography buff too and has a wide angle lens among others. She asked if he could see my collection of models and I said sure but only if he brings his camera. I want to get that famous bow on shot with the saucer in wide angle.

Amazing build. Mine just arrived and I'm getting set to start. Can I ask you where you got the original Enterprise prop reference photos?
