On Startrek.com they list availability as being on December 1st....

Could it be true?
[/b]

Yes it could.
Or not.

I bet it is.

I doubt that is the shipping date. We would of seen one of those letters by now saying your item will be reaching our warehouse in X days or X weeks.

Ok... the lack of updates is starting to physically hurt me... I... NEED... a new picture....

Barry..... Baaaaaaaarrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyy.....

With all the chatter about the Falcon I am feeling a little left out here. Enterprise lovers have feelings too...

That will make it about 13 months after the product was first announced.

Maybe if we keep posting, and Barry shows some compassion, we could get a new pic...

Maybe a production pic... like the one MR released of the tablefull of half built 1/4 scale Solos....

dream.....

I'm still hoping for a new stand for it too.

That would be nice. I liked the 1st one better.

I am curious about the electrical jack/stand mating interface.

I think it would be cool to be able to plug in a cord so it can be handled while powered up.

I for one wouldn't mind a delay to mid January, between my Jlong phaser purchases and house taxes my bank account is screeming right now. :cry :lol A few new picture would be cool from Berry. :D Finally desided to post after lurking for many years. Hi everyone its nice to be here.

Welcome to the RPF. I actually wouldn't mind waiting until January myself but some new pictures would be nice. I'm beginning to wonder if the factory painted them purple and green by mistake, or the nacelles turn the wrong direction.

Well, I am coming late to the party, but I just put one on order :D . Having said that Jan would be okay by me for delivery.

This may have been discussed, but pending success of this Enterprise has MR hinted at any other versions coming in the future?

Not that I am awair of...

Starships and rumours of starships.....

The only thing I have heard is that someone said an MR rep told him at the big Trek con in Vegas that Enterprise-E was planned a few years out from now.

I think originally there were to be two versions... the pilot version, from "The Cage" and the production version from the regular run. That was nixed early on....

Yep. Steve and I co-wrote the specs for the regular and the pilot versions. It would have had the brass antennas on the Nacelle domes, larger Sensor Dish, etc. Both versions called for their respective graphics, too - subtle font changes, if I recall correctly. I even drafted the original joke signs for the Secondary Hull.

Did you know that the lighting build specs for the 11 footer (when it was modified, post Pilot configuration) called for blue light to come from behind the grills on the nacelles (the grills that run the length of the inside of the Nacelles where the Intercoolers are)? They nixed it because of time, money, and the fact that the Nacelle steel and wood construction wasn't conducive to quick modification. So, as designed, the TOS Enterprise would have had blue light coming from the Nacelles, just like the rest of Trek-dom.
