MR TOS Enterprise - new pics

Barry,
will future products carry a Corgi logo, or will MR just remain a division of Corgi.....and MR will still be on all the prop rep packaging? Not that it matters anyway.

Dave,

I have no specifics, yet. I believe the intention is to retain the individual identities of the companies. But I've been wrong before :).

I posted over at Trekmovie that they should use an MR Enterprise instead of the digital model they have been using so far for Trek Remastered- just shoot it bluescreen. It would look a infinitely better than what they've been doing.
(Hey, Ron- remember me?? Where you been? You get that stuff I sent??) -DN

Hey Barry.

Any updates on the Enterprise? I've got this and a Han EE on order and really can't have both hit at the same time.

Its not like they are on a schedule or something... Sheesh... We've been spoiled thus far and have seen far more preproduction stuff from MR for the Enterprise and the falcon then I've EVER seen before. The fact is that there are not many (if any) changes to the product at this point because they are actually busilly cranking them out for a December delivery. I promise after it shows up at my Door I'll take requests for what are you want pics of...

Anyone else get the recent email from MR called "Behind the scenes" that discussed the Big E and who worked on it? It seemed a bit more of a push to get more sales than anything I thought.

No, I got a shipping notice.
But it wasn't for this model, unfortunately.

I'm still not convinced about the little phallus hanging off the bottom, anonymously mailed pictures mean nothing, they could be fakes.
And the grid lines were pencilled in on the 11 footer, so they WOULD NOT BE VISIBLE on a three foot model. Ed Miarecki painted the big E incorrectly when he did his restoration a few years back (gee, maybe it was like 15 years?)

Those damn grid lines have been a real pet peeve of mine. I really hope they are NOT visisble on the model.

It looks like a real beaut. I have one on order but it's for a friend as I can't afford one myself.
:cry

I hope the sales are slow and I have a chance at it.
:rolleyes

Too bad about the base, but then, that's the base design EVERY licensee uses for their product. Oh well.

Most of what you point out has been discussed at length in this thread and others Vaderman. The big "E" will look good - I'm pretty certain of it now. One of the reasons MR lets pics out and displays early versions at cons, etc. is to get feedback from folks like us.

On Startrek.com they list availability as being on December 1st....

Could it be true?
